1a. Jonathan Stewart (RB)
College: Oregon Height: 5-10 Weight: 235
I'm a big Barber fan, and am one of those people that don't believe we need a RB in the first, but how can you pass up on this guy if he's there? He's built like a sledgehammer, and combined with Barber, opposing defenses would get no rest.
1b. James Hardy (WR)
College: Indiana Height: 6-6 Weight: 217
Big, athletic, physical and faster than advertised. Needs some time to develop, but has all the physical tools to be a team-groomed #1 receiver. I think he may get picked earlier than a lot of people expect, probably won't make it out of the first round.
2. Tracy Porter (CB)
College: Indiana Height: 5-11 Weight: 188
A quick, capable corner with good ball skills that needs to become more physical. He's a good cover guy, and has the speed to recover and stay with just about anyone in the NFL. Even if we grab Pacman and it's disastrous, all we really need is a #3 that can step into #2 as long as we have Newman, so I'm willing to sacrifice
3. Kendall Langford (DE)
College: Hampton Height: 6-6 Weight: 287
Big, strong DE. One of the few DE's in this draft that could play end in the 3-4. I like him because he's stout against the run, but he's no slouch when it comes to rushing the QB either with 24.5 sacks in his four year collegiate career. Can be worked into our rotation immediately, and eventually take over if we lose either Spears or Canty.
4. Frank Okam (NT)
College: Texas Height: 6-5 Weight: 347
Wade sees his chance to get a Jamal Williams type NT and takes it. Has the size and strength to be a true NT in the 3-4, which would perhaps allow Ratliff to move to DE. If he were an elite prospect though, he wouldn't be available in the 4th round, so he will need some work.
5. Brandon Keith (OG/OT)
College: Northern Iowa Height: 6-5 Weight: 343
A bull dozer that reminds me a little of Leonard Davis, although he's not nearly as elite a prospect. Needs lots of work, but certainly has the size and athleticism to play RT or guard for us. Has character concerns, however, so the 'Boys would need to do their homework.
6. Traded to the Titans for Pacman
7. Bernard Morris (QB) or Kyle Wright (QB)
Basically a project QB, Morris probably won't be available by Wright might. There are a couple of guys that could go in this spot.
