I thought Dak had played the best game of his career vs the eagles, but wow what he did last night passed that game up easily. Dak just seems to play better when people doubt him. Just seems to take it personal and we end up seeing his best football. His reads and his ball placement was perfect. That td throw to Gallup is probably the prettiest pass I have ever seen in my life. Not because he's Dak but because that throw was just that great. When Dak plays like that and that Philly game you can't tell me there are more than 3 qbs in the nfl who can do that.

I have one negative about this game and that's the offensive coaches trying to get Peter's to do stuff that he can't do like pulling across the line to lead block on them long hand offs to the outside. Peter's would've been better at guard if they want to do them things.

Dalton Schultz made himself alot of money last night. And most likely priced himself out of Dallas. He's a really smart player who beats coverages by running great routes and sliding into open space. I think Ferguson with more snaps can turn into another Schultz. One thing I loved seeing was on daks td run Schultz was wide open for a td but he signaled to dak to run it in and was ready to lay a block to the pursuing buc.

While this team didn't get sack crazy, They took Brady out of the game early with pressure. They did enough to make Brady aware that there was always somebody within sack distance. He looked uncomfortable the whole game. I'm sure this game gave Quinn alot of satisfaction for owning Brady. A little revenge for that superbowl loss.

The 3 safeties were huge. While Kearse will get the glory with his int and almost a 2nd one. The star imo was Wilson. He did the dirty work, and was laying hits. I was suprised Godwin got up like nothing on the hit from Wilson on that Brady toss to Godwin. Wilson was even more noticeable when Kearse went out. Speaking of that I havent read anything of Kearse so I'm sure he's fine.

Parsons played mostly lber and he was all over the place. Think this is proof that Parsons shouldn't be a DE for alot of snaps. He provides so much more playing lber in coverage just as much as rushing the qb. But the biggest thing is he's not getting gassed. He looked so much more fresh at the end of the game last night than recently While playing mostly de snaps.

McCarthy is looking more and more like a coach that might be sticking around. The way he interacts with the team shows that he can be a coach that's approachable for them kinda like Garrett was, but where they differ is he doesn't look like he cares about hurting somebody's feelings with his language. Some people and I'm one of these people had this perception that he was cupcake city. But it just doesnt give off that feeling to me anymore. They respond to him.

You have to give it to the OL, especially the interior. In week one vea controlled the inside, and it looked that that was gonna happen again but after his sack, he was a ghost. When in week 1 tb was beating them inside with then stunts and blitzes inside, Dallas shut that down and dak had all night to throw. And even when they did get pressure it was coming from the edge and dak took it a step further and I really think this changed the game and that's when he started to take off and run the ball.

When they showed the Jones' celebrating, those thinking it's all about the money for them. Go back and look at their expressions. Specifically Jerry and especially Charlotte, she looked like your grade A obsessed fan going out of her mind. I hope this team gets it done for this man one more time before his time is done. Love him or hate him Jerry is the guy who brought this franchise back to life. There is no Jimmy without Jerry. There is no walker trade without Jerry going to him and being upfront, the same thing with Landry. When he bought the team Sham was already going to fire Landry and said he would fire him before the sale. Jerry told him no its his team he'll do. Knowing he would be hated for that no matter what the team did. Then there's the T.O release. He did it face to face at dinner. Jerry has put his whole life into this franchise, he deserves one more Trophy.

Parsons didn't "mostly play LB". He played some snaps at LB.

Godwin took a serious hot from Wilson. I'm surprised neither Aikman or Buck didn't comment on it.

Great write up LM!

good post. one thing that's key for those big nasty DTs, you need to run outside a few times, make them run side line to side line a few times and they get gassed. Vea looked gassed. Pollard is able to do that. it will do two things, slow down the pass rush and then the run game starts to work when you have tired them enough... those nice long drives did a lot for us last night. Moore called a very good game.

The shot of Charlotte was kick a $ $. Jones' love this team, man.

Another cool little Jones shot from last night...

Did you see after Maher missed his third extra point...they zoomed the box and Jerry, Stephen, Will.....AND Stephen's son standing with his hands on his hips concerned...like "We gotta do something about this".

I thought it was funny because he is so young. Lucky kid.

Out of all the highlights last night my favorite was the 4th down bootleg that Dak ran for a Td. Schultz was wide open and Dak didnt have a defender close to him…..it was the PERFECT play call and execution!

in hindsight I wish we could have saved it to use against the Niners

Laugh at the idea that you think Dak is a top 4 QB.

But laugh even more that you have bought into Jethro's circus carny act about how much he wants to win

There were a couple passes to Shultz that were much better than the pass to Gallup-that one was 4 inches from being intercepted. The pass to Shultz out of the scramble left was the stuff that separates you, and the one over Shultz head that he bobbled was a great touch pass but the Gallup pass was the most dangerous of the night!

I have been arguing that Schultz is a keeper for a long time. Then the accountants come out of the woodwork to tell me asking for a raise means he is crap. My wish would be to keep Schultz and Ferguson for a tandem that rules the middle of the field.

I especially would love to see Kellen Moore figure that out for this run to open up things for the WR's.

McCarthy is a solid and good head coach. The great unwashed on this site tends to over react to every little nuance and screams for the heads of anyone who makes a mistake. I am leaning to the belief that McCarthy is the best head coach Jones has hired since Jimmy. And that includes Pet Cat Parcells.

The offensive line will be either the anchor that holds this offense together, or the weakest link that prevents this high octane machine to prevail. In spite of the fans who think Dak is constantly the reason things go south, the offensive line owns a huge share of that responsibility.

There were some small things that went by the wayside in this Bucs game that tickled me.

The Lamb TD, go back and watch him just drop the ball in the endzone. His attitude, like "I'll just leave this here."

Micah walking through the Bucs huddle. Reminds me of a game back in the day.

The Commanders were the odds on favorite to win the East. They came to Dallas, and someone sent the Cowboys a funeral wreath to the locker room. Dallas went out and beat their arses that day. Harvey Martin, by himself took that wreath to the visitors locker room and threw it on the floor with all of the Commanders and staff watching.

Micah is a grown man.

The last thing was when the offense was preparing for the Victory Formation. It appeared to me they stood in the huddle with their arms wrapped around each other. I love the way this team has a camaraderie and seem to really appreciate each other. Which makes me believe they will rally around Money Maher when the time comes.

And that esprit de corps can carry a team a long way in the face of stacked odds against them.
