Seems everyone and his uncle starts a thread on his thoughts on the games so here are mine:
Total team effort today. Even when they fell behind twice, they did not give up.
Romo has convinced me he is the real deal (not that he cares whether I thought he was or not). He could easily have folded after the early fumble and terrible INT let alone the INT called back on the hold. He made the throws he had to make, like the one to Fasano and the one to Glenn that iced it.
We were a little too conservative in the first half, but there was a method to Bill's madness I guess, he just kept pounding the ball until the Colts' d wilted. The long TD drive broke their d's back. Had we not kneeled down during the final two minutes, I'm convinced we would have scored again.
Vanderjagt has the leg on this FGs, he just kicks them straight and he is off line. I was uber choked on the second miss, but calls to cut him seem silly. Would you rather Suisham or Cundiff back?
Nice move by Burnett on the TD, might have been down by contact but he gave us what we needed to start the half.
I kept having visions of Jason Sehorn after Newman was plastered on the punt return.
I was glad to see Terry Glenn used in the second half. Since the QB switch, he has been almost forgotten but he made huge plays when we needed him today.
Nice pressure on Manning today.
Onward and upward.
With McFlabb's torn ACL, things are opening quite nicely for us.
