If there isn't a change coaching, then there's no reason to working a new deal with dak. This coaching staff just doesn't seem able to get things going in big situations. They force dak to try and make play after play. Maybe he just can't do it all the time against everybody. Maybe the job is just to big for Moore.

Dak was just bad today. The first int you can argue that Gallup ran a lazy route. And it looks like that because dak let that ball out quick to that spot like he expected Gallup to be there. The 2nd he just got lazy and made a bad throw. The end of the game like his coaches it just looked like he didn't know what to do.

I would be totally fine with this loss but that Def holding. Like Olsen said how are they going to call that if they didn't call it on the niners for doing to same thing to Martin. That td influenced the game. Without that call niners have to kick a fg. Now looking at what this team didn't do in the fourth quarter you can't really say it cost Dallas because you have to score, they couldn't move the ball let alone score. But it influenced what they did. Why is it every big game there's one of these against Dallas. The Dez non catch. The holding on Irving not called. It's not like these calls are hidden their right in the open. They're actually part of the play that's affecting the outcome. I'm not going to say the nfl is blatantly cheating but what are the refs doing that they are missing these plays that are right in the open of the area ur supposed to be watching.

That pollard tackle was dirty, you can't convince me otherwise. He was in position to just drag pollard down. He end up sitting on pollards ankle. Actually it looked like Seattle's type of tackle without the ankle twist at the end of the play.

Those on this forum wanting fans to admit to them being right because week after week they're predicting loss after loss and get one and want some kind of pat on the back. You do know this is a cowboys forum. Where fans typically root for their team to win. Think they can win. If you cant do that. What are you here for? It's fans of the Dallas Cowboys being fans of the Dallas Cowboys.

Right now I'm just ready for another HC. And I'm ready for somebody to compete with Dak, and no that's not Rush. I wouldn't hate it if NO got dallas' rd1 Pick for Payton. For 1 specific reason. He would bring in new capable coaches. I think Payton gives you more than a rookie. Dallas is already young.

MM did a good job but I just don't think he could coach his team to a sb.

Did the extra 2 days play a factor. He'll yeah, niners were way more fresh at the end. The defense gave the offense every chance to end this game early, they just couldn't get it done.

My thoughts exactly. Dirty tackle on pollard, they called a holding penalty on us at the most inopportune time.

We were definitely tired but this team is missing something. Obviously we need a different quarterback but we make too many mistakes. We shoot ourselves in the foot every single game.

Dak holds the ball longer than he should…I think a couple of his passes would have been completed if he would have thrown the ball earlier in the route

Here's my thoughts. The Jones boys are happy being good enough to get to this point to keep the money pouring in. They will not make the necessary moves to get this team over the top. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I think coaching would get dak there. But I think it's one of the coaches Jerry won't go after. One that could steal some of his thunder I don't think he'll go after.

Then pack it up. Because the Jones' aren't going anywhere.

The Dono on Kittle hold looked like a bit of a flop too. Refs were bad, but Dak and Moore were badder.

My season starts with one question to Mcarthy if I’m the GM. Do you think we can win a ring with this QB? If the answer is ‘yes’ I would sell the farm and go get Sean Payton. Payton in turn brings in any coach he wants at any position. He gets the blank check. Quinn is all but gone already and if Peyton wants Moore running the offense then I would be disappointed but so be it.

This was the game Dak was given a loaded contract for. He held out because he sold himself as the man who can get a title if the defense did their part respectively. The defense did their part and gift wrapped a division playoff game for Dak if he could just drive the bus against a top defense and keep from giving them the ball twice.

This team is not going any further with Dak and Peyton gives us a fresh start without Zeke and possibly Pollard depending on how serious his ankle is. Dak is 99% coming back one more season but that gives us a full season to do a deep dive and find a QB who Payton can work with in 2024 for the years that follow.

This season ended pretty much how I expected. Two teams that went all in are continuing on while the penny pinching boys face yet another 2nd round exit. The Rams went all in last year and they will probably rebuild and be in another superbowl in a few years while we are still searching the dumpsters for scraps of salami

I had no issues with McCarthy this year. He got 12 wins and playoff win with an injured QB, below average play from the starting QB and a banged up defense and banged up offensive line.

If Payton came here and didn't like Dak, Dak would be benched. Just saying. But honestly, I think you can call plays to make average QBs look good enough to win, IF YOU HAVE the right personnel.

It's not just Gallup running a lazy route. Witness Bland jogging after the WR in motion, losing him by just a step and giving up a huge 1st down. Or Micah Parsons nonchalantly running after McCaffrey when he went in motion, losing him for a big 1st down. Or Smith doubling down on the DT while ignoring the safety who's blitzing right at him, Barr giving up inside leverage. And on and on.

It's not laziness. The players have no attention to detail, one can only surmise they've never been taught, because we've seen it for years from many different players. They frequently do the little things wrong, apart from our Goat right guard and a few others. We've seen it all year. McCarthy? It's not his offense, not his defense, so what could he instill in the players?

Until wholesale changes are made at the top, the product on the field won't really change. Even hitting on all timers like Micah Parsons and Zack Martin isn't enough to overcome it, just as getting Demarcus Ware and Jason Witten couldn't.

Yep, there's too many 'unsmart plays' and that falls on coaching. Guys screwing up on big plays and smiling. We don't have the hard nosed coaching we need and come out in the playoffs looking sloppy and end up losing

Peyton is not winning this game with one offensive skill player that is worth anything. Heck Payton couldn’t win anything with a Hall of Fame quarterback, best offensive line, top wideout, and running back in the league the last 5 years in New Orleans.

With a coach like Payton I think they can. But idk if Jerry would do what it takes to get a guy like Payton. He gave up control with Parcells and no results. So idk

I bet you belichick would take dak.
Plus you need to give up a draft pick

Mike McCarthy took this job and gave up his playacting duties to KM. He is another Jerry jones puppet.

Who's idea was it too pass on the 2nd and 2 before halftime. And if it was Kellen Moore, why didn't Mccarthy override him. Again what the hell is MM's roll?
