My turn on the off-season: Tried to make it realistic:
Salary cap causality:
- Lewis ($4.7) Savings - hard injury to come back from

Salary Reductions:
- Elliot - Saving ($8.9) Base of ($2.0) - Doesn’t like it cut him, won’t get more on the open market
- Smith - Saving ($5.0) Base of ($8.5) - Think Smith could be traded if he won’t accept- KC?

This gives us around $33 million - take out about $3 million for rookies - we are looking at $30
Resign:
- Hankins $2.5 million - 1 year
- Watkins $2.0 million - 1 year
- Noah Brown 2 year $5 million (5th WR - more special teams)
- LVE - Contract 2 year $16 million but really 1 year $8

Need to wait on everyone else: Market Value
- Maybe the Wilson situation will be like Kearse

Going to solve WR#2 by trading for Cortland Sutton - this years 4th (130) and a conditional 4th or 5th next year:
- $14.5 million - can get out after 23 or easily restructure.

Free agent signings:
- CB Shaq Griffin - $7 million prove it deal
- Backup QB - $2.5 - Sam Darnold or some other vet backup

My mock - tried to make it realistic and played around with all the different sites:
#26 - Brian Branch - Do it all DB
#58 - Jack Campbell - Takes Barrs spot this year - LVE next
#90 - Sam LaPorta - All around TE prospect
#129 - TRADE - Sutton
#161 - Brandan Daniels - Small but athletic
#169 - Chase Brown - RB prospect, tested better then I though
#176 - Hunter Luepke - FB and special teams
#212 - Max Duggan - Why not
#244 - Andrew Vorhees - ACL IR 23 to rehab

I know the $$$ is over the Salary Cap but the Jones can easily make it work:

The 2023 Dallas Cowboys
QBs - Prescott, Darold, Duggan
RBs - Pollard, Elliott, Brown, Davis, Luepke - Davis practice squid
WRs - Lamb, Gallup, Sutton, Tolbert, Brown, Turpin
TEs - Ferguson, Hendershot, LaPorta, McKeon
Ts - Smith, Steele, Waletzko, Ball (Tyler Smith would play when Smith gets hurt)
Gs - Martin, Smith, Daniels, Farniok
Cs - Biadasz

Defense
DEs - Lawrence, Armstrong, Williams, Golston
DTs - OSA, Hankins, Watkins, Gallimore, Bohanna
LBs - Parsons, LVE, Campbell, Clark, Cox
CBs - Diggs, Griffin, Bland, Branch, Wright, Joseph (Wright or Joseph will not make the team)
SFs - Kearse, Hooker, Mukuamu, Bell

Punter - Anger
Kicker - TBA
Long Snapper- TBA

Still need to fill out the final couple of spots of the roster with minimum salary Free Agent:

Like the effort

But it's the same team as last yr, and the trenches are no improvement. Seems like alot of athletes rather than position.

And Idk if they'd go with a guy like Sutton. Dallas has wrs with his skill set. They need speed not another possession wr.

I like Branch as a player, but not sure where he fits into the D next year. He’s more of a FS/nickel CB than a Wilson replacement at SS.

Can’t keep status quo at DT. Need to add some kind of talent there.

Who plays LG if/when Tyron misses games? O-line depth would be really lacking.
