Name a couple of the best inventions in your opinion

A couple that come to mind right off for me would be
1. Toilet paper.
2. Air conditioning......I remember the swamp coolers and attic fans which are terrible in humid areas like we have in Texas.
3. Tubeless tires.

Naugahyde, but the Nauga's are now on the endangered species list.
