EUGENE, Ore. - Change is coming to the national title game, though it has nothing to do with any of those BCS busters you heard about all season.

Southeastern Conference champion Auburn and Pac-10 champ Oregon each will be making their first trip to the BCS title game, a rarity for the biggest showdown of the bowl season.

The top-ranked Tigers and No. 2 Ducks will bring perfect records and potent offenses to Glendale, Ariz., for their Jan. 10 matchup.

Seeing both of these teams play several times this season I can't argue with the BCS match up for the National Championship bot teams have earned the right to battle for the right to be #1 so who do you think will win this game?

I have no idea. Oregon is very impressive. But Auburn might be a better all around team.

Both are very good teams I have yet to make up my mind as to who will win. Right now leaning towards Auburn but I'm sure I will have a couple change of hearts before the game. :laugh2:

I will say Oregon...just because I don't want Cam Newton winning the championship and probably getting the heisman as well.

Just chaps me thinking that he and his father can get away with stuff and even worse the idea of the NCAA not doing a thing. I bet if that team had lost a game or two, they would have suspended him by now.

I agree. He should not have been allowed to play long ago, but the NCAA wants boat loads of money. Just give it about 2-3 years, they will strip him of the Heisman and everything else. You know, after all the money has been made.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say TCU. :muttley:

TCU vs Wisconsin will be an interesting game. My heart will be with TCU but after seeing Wis a few times I'm not sure the TCU defense will be able to hold up vs that OL and running game of Wis.

AU is going to win this game by at least 14+, no doubt about it.

Oregon had a good year but they are nothing like how the Tigers are playing at the moment.

I hope so as well but then I hope Arkansas wins, I forget who they play. :laugh2:

That's OK...I want whoever is playing Texas in their Bowl to win.

Oh... They're not going to a Bowl you say?

1) Newton is the most electrifying college player in a long time. 2) Whatever his old man did or didn't do, what he knew or didn't know in my view does not detract from point number 1.

I think Auburn wins this easily.

I agree with you except for the last part. I do think Oregon is going to make a game of this and have some very talented players as well. Auburn very well could win this game it would not come as a shock but I think Oregon will give them all they can handle.

What makes these games interesting is teams have a month to prepare for the game.

I agree, I think Oregon is gonna get smoked. Auburn looks so much bigger to me than Oregon plus running the gauntlet that is the SEC is so much tougher than winning the Pac 10.

Now that I've made my prediction, you can all safely put your money on Oregon (my prognostication abilities are awful, I've consistently lost all three games in a 3 game parlay until I gave up gambling on sports)

I have yet to see anyone come close to stopping that Oregon offense and Auburns defense isn't something to write home about.

I'll go with Auburn because Cam Newton is such a freak but Oregon winning in a blowout wouldn't surprise me either.

Most SEC teams have been built on strong defense and Auburns defense just isn't anything special.

Auburn wins easy. Oregon will hang around til the end but it will seem non-competitive from start to finish.

Depends on whether Oregon can defend. They aren't known for defense - the roody-poo schools they've played simply can't keep up on offense.

It'll be a good game I'm sure. If Auburn starts flat offensively like they did on many occasions this season look out.
