He outed himself years ago. Has made a pretty good living off of that. Not sure how well that sits with Seal Culture. He must live life with his head on a swivel.

I've read his book. It was a good read. I also read that when he returned home from the mission, and obviously, everyone knew they got Bin Laden...and when he pulled into his driveway and he was checking the mail a neibhour lady who knew he was a seal, came over to him and embraced him...she knew he was on a mission and just put 2 and 2 together. Now I am not sure if this story was embellished, but it is a nice story.
