Pretty much everybody picked them to get beaten in the first round as well.



They are inconsistent but as far as athleticism and talent, they are one of the top teams in the league

ya they are like the nuggets of the eastern conference, they just need a to go guy that can get them a basket at will consistently (not an easy thing to find mind you)

I ma bit conflicted. I would like the Lakers to lose b/c it may sway the Dwight Howard sweepstakes. But I like to see the NBA do well and the Lakers/Heat finals would do that way more than Grizzlies/Heat

its still to early to say that, the lakers can beat anyone 4 games in a row no matter the venue, i wouldnt count them out until there is 0:00 left in the fourth win for the mavs

im also very superstitious and for this round im cheering for the mavs. so mavs fans on twitter and dallas area writers proclaiming victory already is very worrisome

They are in the minority. There are Mavs fans that are weary about the next two games. We have been on the positive and negative side of 2-0 series leads in the last 5 years.
