What are your NBA predictions for this season?

Here are mine...

East:
1. Magic
2. Heat
3. Celtics

West:
1. Los Angeles Lakers
2. Oklahoma City
3. Dallas

Conference Champs:
Boston (E)
LA Lakers (W)

NBA Champs:
Boston - They're just a really great and deep team. Starting lineup of Rondo, Allen, Pierce, KG, and Shaq with Nate, Jermaine O'Neal, Delonte West, Big Baby, and Perkins (when he's back) are going to be very difficult to deal with. The two O'Neals can be very effective in limited minutes, which have Big Baby and Perkins will allow them to be well rested with good rotation. They'll cruise through the season, but they'll be ready and explosive in the playoffs.

MVP:
Kevin Durant

ROY:
Blake Griffin

Knicks prediction:
Yes, I'm a Knicks fan ... we do exist ... 5th seed in the East, First round playoff exit in 7.

Miami's record: 63-19

Pulling for OKC, have no idea how they will do. I would think they will make the playoffs though, but Im not a gib NBA follower so I don't know.

They should. SI has them pegged as a 2 seed. A little generous maybe but who knows?

Vince Carter gets a high ankle sprain right before the playoffs. Taking his big game choking abilities out of the lineup helps propel the Magic to the Title.

I dont expect much from Mavs but if they install the youth that will go a long way in future. Cuban is slowly getting out of payroll hell. I think Lakers and Heat will be in it and Stern will be jumping for ratings joy.

ROY is Blake Griffin, and I don't see how it could be anyone else.

I agree. I was hoping John Wall before the season started, but after seeing him the other night, I don't think anyone could win ROY (or anything) with the Wizards. That team is just terrible.

Lakers will probably win it all again....unfortunately...all the other predictions are meaningless.

I will say this...I would love for Miami to struggle this year and need to win the final game of the season, against Cleveland, to make the playoffs. Cleveland, wins, goes to the postseason, and King Choke goes back to South Beach with the rest of his overhyped, overvalued, overexposed bunch of tools. BTW, I am not even sure Miami and Cleveland play on the last day of the season, just something that would totally warm the cockles of my heart. Oh, and I would also love to see Toronto make the postseason as well.

Spurs as the 8th seed? really? you guys are comical.

San Antonio will be a top 3 seed. Duncan is healthy. Parker is healthy. Manu is healthy. Hill and Blair have improved. Jefferson and McDyess now have a year in the system and will have a better season. They have added Splitter and Anderson.

Lakers, Spurs, Mavs, Thunder, and Jazz will compete for the top 4 seeds. One of these teams will end up the 5th seed...and IMO it will be either the Thunder or the Jazz.

RJ is trash.

They arent a regular season team anymore anyway, they dont care about seeding

im not a big RJ fan, in fact, i cannot stand him. however, he worked all offseason with Pop to learn the nuances of the system. Pop's system is a difficult one to just jump in and pick up. players need at least a full year to understand all that the system entails. RJ and McDyess will both be a lot better. McDyess will have a better shooting year this year. RJ will be more assertive and more in rhythm with the rest of the team.

The Spurs will be a top 3 seed.
