The demo seems like the game play is really fast.

I've heard a lot of good things about this game so I got the demo but it seems like it is moving at an irate speed.

Any opinions on the speed?

Will madden be like that?

Im not saying its a bad thing. I just dont know what to think yet.

They slowed Madden down last year, so maybe that's why it seems so fast?

You can adjust the game speed on Madden, so I don't think it'll be as fast. I'm going to download the demo today (of NCAA) and give it a try, heard good things as well.

Got it last night and played one game. It felt slow running the ball to me... but I just played on the manufacturers settings (Varsity), so it wasn't hard to run it. The passing game felt pretty crisp. Defense was a little different. It did feel fast playing defense.

The demo is wonky compared to the real game.

NCAA is the only football game I play anymore - I refuse to buy Madden until they get it right. You can't have Romo's voice in the game one year and then take it out the next year. The passing game was laughable last year too.

NCAA has never put out a product as good as their demo so hearing the gameplay is better is good to hear.

I LOVE the run blocking and how you actually have to follow your blocks.

I wouldn't put my money on Madden bring busted this year.

Only thing that can do it is to fast of game speed.

I'm thinking about getting this game but I haven't decided. I know I'm getting Madden (Already pre-ordered it) but I'm thinking of getting this one as well.

Been playing for 2 days straight now, and I think this is one of the best football games ever. Much better than the last few Maddens/NCAA's.

The running game is fantastic, and you really get a realistic feeling from it. Passing is definitely harder, but I like it alot more because you actually have to know the routes you're running and where the receiver is supposed to be. Throwing on man coverage is definitely much more difficult. Anticipating the defensive strategy is critical.

Defensively it feels pretty much the same, other than it is MUCH easier to get user picks this time around. That can be a good or bad thing, but I've played a few games online and just like with the offensive passing, you need to anticipate where the receiver is going more than ever. Definitely suggest this game.
