LVE was slow and Kearse was terrible. For a safety Kearse might be one of the slowest none DT's on the starting defense. His change of direction is terrible also. Just a stiff out there.

The Cowboys don't have a LB that can go sideline to sideline. LVE is too slow.

Our D line doesn’t play to keep lineman off our LB’s and our guys aren’t stout enough to take on and shed blockers and make the tackle - we need a thumper in the middle that is a force

the base of this defense at heart is really a 4-2-5, and we weren't/aren't healthy enough to run it effectively. With Parsons being more of a rusher now, and playing an abundance of S as opposed to true LBs I'm surprised it hadn't caught up to us in the previous games. But rolling in TOs and big leads can hide some warts. Problem is the blueprints out there. To be honest it has been since the Denver game 2 yrs ago, out-physical the D and limit risks/mistakes and you can get chunk yardage. Have to wait and see what wrinkles if any they can do to alleviate it

Exactly right. Our DL plays with no gap integrity. It leads to nice stats for these guys individually, TFLs and sacks, but you’ll never have consistency in stopping the run. That’s why teams that stick with the ground game against us usually find success, often gashing us.
