Hey guys. I'm taking my wife and son to Dallas this weekend. We are doing the Six Flags thing as well as a tour of the stadium.

However, we are trying to think of some other things to do. My son is 13 so we need some kid friendly stuff.

Any suggestions?

We will be staying off 360 and 30, but I don't mind driving. I lived there for quite a while and know my way around.

Thanks

Omni Theater at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is very cool. (the museum itself is pretty good to boot) There are other theaters around that imitate it, but I have yet to find one that is quite like it.

I will be down in the area and the end of next week for about four days. I'm bringing the entire family this time and we are going to hit the Stadium tour, maybe Six Flags if the heat isn't extreme, and the Omni Theater. My kids will love all three of them. (my wife is too snooty to go to Six Flags :laugh2: )

The Fort Worth Zoo kicks *** too. I haven't been to the San Diego Zoo, but it kicks the crap out of all other Zoos I've been to.

Alley Cats off I-20 and Collins is like a mix between Dave & Busters and Chuck E Cheese. There's a D&B in Dallas, tho, if you just wanna go there. There's also the Putt-Putt by there, as well.

Hurricane harber is a water park right across from Six Flags, I think.

The Highlands off I-20 and Matlock (I think) in Arlington has a ton of restaurants and watnot.

I assume you know of the shopping spots so I won't add. But that's all I can think of at the moment. I don't usually do the kid stuff when I'm up there.

Yeah just to add, the fort worth zoo is awesome.

if you go south on 360 there is a great water park called hawaiian falls in mansfield. http://www.hfalls.com/ The big league field of dreams is on the site too, this is the little league parks that are replicas of yankee stadium, fenway, wrigley, the ballpark in arlington and more..

also north on 360 in grapevine that indoor water park place.. I forget the name something lodge!!!!
