You're going to get a lot of people piling on you after the entire offseason was them being negative, but you're right it's just week 1. Heck we probably won't know exactly what this team is until after Christmas.

The problem with this team for the past few years is being spotty. We've shut out a team before and then stunk it up a week or two later. That's the Cowboys.

My belief is each week reveals something for joy and something to be concerned. Rodgers will be a good test. But as someone said in another thread, he is not the guy to break out of the pocket and salvage a first down with his legs. Perhaps more than ever Dallas needs to play tight coverage on the receivers, which prevents Rodgers from throwing early.
The pass rush will take care of everything else if that was to occur.

I think the offense will have worked a little rust off because of the Giants game.

Just beat the team in front of you, Cowboys. The rest will take care of itself.
