Ok Dallas fans, I know this will get ripped because that what these message boards do. People sit back and wait for someone to post ANYTHING so they can crack their whip but that's ok, here goes.
--- Lead off this with the 2023 draft was a complete and utter boom ---- F
This draft is giving nothing and before saying to give players "time to develop", they are the same ones saying this about Tryson Hill /Taco Carlton. 1st rd picks are suppose to be immediate contributors. Mazi is another horrible draft pick on the DL ( adding to the players just mentioned) and from Michigan. And speaking of Wolverines, add a 3rd player from "Big Blue" that is doing nothing--Schoomaker.
When the Cowboys are getting far more from undrafted players than drafted, you really have to re-evaluate the horrible job our scouts and draft board was. This is THE KEY area where Jerry Jones is killing this franchise.
--- The OL is average AT BEST. When Pollard get less than 2 yards before he get hits, the OL is not doing their job. Yes, having a better RB can help but a BIG problem is this OL has struggled to run the ball for three (3) years now. Tyron Smith is great when he plays, but once again, is not dependable. Tyler Smith is fine. And keep him there. Biadasz is dependable but is average and is a major problem why this team can't run. And let's also add that Steele is having a bad season also. Both this players rank very LOW in run blocking--LOW ! Martin is still solid but his years are numbered.
--- This team need a middle LB in the worst way. LVE should retire and even when he was on the field, he would guess where the holes were. Need a MLB that can shed blocks and stuff this run D that again is suffering. Mazi Smith better get his butt in the weight room and add muscle or he will be the 2nd straight wasted DT ( T Hill). The last solid MLB this team has was Ken Norton, jr.
--- Sam Williams only had 7 snaps vs Miami. Why? Team can't trust him.
--- Jerry made a huge mistake letting Arami Cooper go and keeping Gallup. Jerry was mad that Cooper would not take the COVID jab and didnt like Cooper calling out the coaching staff ( which Cooper was RIGHT because Jerry did fire Garrett the next season).
So, to really think this is a team that can really win a Superbowl is ONCE AGAIN buying the FOOLS GOLD Jerry has been selling for two decades and we all know how this is going to end again, again, and again.
The draft:
--- I say get a solid veteran MLB to anchor the defense. Don't know if there is a player is free agency. But this position needs address
--- Same goes for OL. The OT position is suppose to be deep so grab one and I might even grab a center/OG player also.
--- Don't know what they do at RB and or WR. Cooks is a WR3 so a WR2 is needed.
--- And let's throw in a CB. Gilmore may not return.
Team is going to throw HUGE money @ Lamb and Parsons, so I have no idea how this team adds any QUALITY players to fill holes mentioned. Does this team trade away Biadasz to get draft pick(s) and another player. If Dallas can't sign players because of salary cap issues with Lamb/Parson and maybe even extending Prescott, they will need draft capital instead, which that have little of.
