New Doctor Who on Christmas night

I liked it.

The story was ok. Kind of slow.

I liked the ending with the new Doctor flying out of the Tardis.

Will be curious of the route they go with the next companion(s).

I kind of hope they go with someone like the Donna (later doctor donna) type. Might not be young and hip but was funny and worked well.

I also kind of hope they don't go with a companion couple...they can be two companions but don't need a rory and amy romance on the side.

She was so so to me. It would have been interesting if she decided to stay with the doctor AFTER she turned into the Water thing for a lack of a better term.

Would be kind of cool if they had a human companion that was somehow given different powers. Doctor Donna had a touch of that. Bill had that before leaving.

Just something to inject into the show to make it a little more fun. And if they choose another actress...I just hope they don't have the dead eyes like the actress who played Ameilia Pond.

The only Dr. Who I ever watched was Tom Baker. Of course, when I was watching Dr. Who, it was early 80s. "Who" woulda thunk?

Cool clip with the return of Tom Baker to the Dr. Who series years later.

I love Tom Baker. Remembered him in Fla as a kid. In the PBS station. Really think that the new doctor a lady will do well. Know there was a lot of uproar in casting Miss Whitaker for the role.
