I think this was good compensation for our spot. Bear in mind, I used Database for the mock draft

Dallas Receives:
2023: Round 1, Pick 27
2023: Round 2, Pick 59
2024: Round 5
2024: Round 7
Buffalo Receives:
2023: Round 1, Pick 26
My Selections

And now for the picks

27
Bijan Robinson
RB | Texas

He fell to us, we need a RB, so, easy choice here.

58
Trenton Simpson
LB | Clemson

Gives us another LB to help Micah as he can attack from the opposite side of Micah. Lethal LB duo

59
Keeanu Benton
DL | Wisconsin

NT, which is a position of need. We'd be able to stop the run better.

90
Luke Wypler
IOL | Ohio State

Gets us an interior olineman who can allow us to move Tyler to LT when Tyron goes down.

129
Jaylon Jones
CB | Texas A&M

Can't hurt to have some quality DB help.

169
Josh Whyle
TE | Cincinnati

Not a position of need, but I felt a later round choice on a TE could be good.

212
Tre Tucker
WR | Cincinnati

Some good depth at WR.

244
Chad Ryland
K | Maryland

Replaces Maher

Hope you all like it.

I'm not going to bore you all with a bunch of videos, but I will post a few for some players. Here's one for Tre Tucker

Figured, with the WCO we are running, speed at WR is a good thing.

For Jaylon Jones:

Gives us a nice CB who is a hard hitter. As we saw last season, DB depth is important, and we could especially use help in the slot.

Finally, for Josh Whyle

Good spot for some depth, rotates with Hendershot and Ferguson. I think he'd be a good choice.

If you want to use the simulator but don’t want to use the value chart, the trade is pretty much neutral when the bar is in the center between the 2 teams. You will get some lopsided trades if you move far from center. For a Buffalo trade down, a neutral trade would be Dallas 26 + 169 (722.6) for Buffalo 27 + 130 (722). Desperation may impact value but the closer to center, the more realistic. Hope that helps.

Definitely, I mean, I went with a standard trade option as opposed to free for all.

I mean, I'm drafting with what they provide lol. I suppose I can try to do one without it
Yeah I encourage everyone to post a thread like “here’s players I like and why” or “the players I’d target in each round”…but posting a wildly unrealistic mock is a just a waste and isn’t going to get you any kind of rational discussion. That trade is so bad that you should have just closed that website and never gone back without reporting any evidence of what you saw.

It’s still fun to goof around with when you’re board. Just keep the bar as close to dead center as possible and the trade value will be very close to neutral. Plug in the Buffalo trade I provided above if you want to see what the bar should look like when neutral.

Fur sure, and I'll probably use that when I try to do a mock draft without using a draft simulator.

Those that want robinson are the lazy types that havent bothered to study the draft.

That pick would be a mistake.
