I just bought a new 20in wide screen monitor. The maximum resolution is 1440x900 pixels. What resolution should I have it at?

Yeah, the stupid manual says 1024x768. That is a full screen aspect ratio.. stupid Dell. LOL

It also depends on what resolution your video card can handle but you'd have to have a pretty bad one if it won't go over 1024.

My monitor's max is 2048 x 1536 however I keep it at the 1024 X 768.

Some of that stuff at higher numbers just make stuff look too small.:laugh2:

For LCD, use whatever the "recommended resolution" is for that monitor. That's where the text etc. will be the sharpest.

Thanks, I have it on 1440x900. The text and all that good stuff is sharpest on that setting.
