New Ownership does exactly what for this team?

We all want you know who gone, booger/jerrah/jethro/bozo, whatever you call Jerry these days. Exactly what would new management do to change the culture of this team to get back to it's glory days??? This should be interesting (Coog-this will never happen, just like me asking for your thoughts would never happen, but it happened!) Please give me your thoughts!!

It depends on whether Jerry Jones the owner would self-constrain himself to his Jimmy Johnson era version. It is what older fans have a less clear memory of him, while younger fans have zero recollection of him as.

'Would Jones do it?' is the question? The answer is that it is possible since he did it before (the Parcells' version does not really count since he used the stadium pitch as an ulterior motive).

Changing management is not a phenomenon restricted outside the NFL. It commonly happens in any form of business. It may be strange to some members but it happens in the NFL too.

New management is not some magic pill though. A general manager could oversee similar results Jones achieved. They could also run football operations worse than Jones has. Some will dispute that last possibility but it is true nonetheless.

That said, a new, qualified general manager can instill new vision and innovation. Hiring, drafting and acquisition decisions would be organized through a different lens. This is the choice Jones has not only deprived his fans for reaching higher heights for his franchise but also cheated himself as its owner.

well, for starters the new ownership would bring in a GM who can be held responsible for success of the team. that's the best start.

The fact we have fans who even have any questions or doubts with bringing in new ownership ( assuming they’d follow more normal protocol) speaks volumes to the lack of understanding in the obstacles and hindrance our current dysfunctional organization presents to the potential success of building a championship caliber team.

100% depends on who buys the team. If it's an owner who uses it as a toy to play with like the Jones clan, nothing changes. If it's an owner who wants to win a super bowl, that's a completely different story.
Yep. And even normal ownership and organizations doesn’t guarantee more success.

It just provides the opportunity they’d finally hire the right person to bring more success.

Currently this isn’t an option in Dallas.

Jethro could have been a great owner. He certainly got off to a historical start. But it was because he hired the right person and provided total football control.

Unfortunately that wasn’t enough for our owner. Winning back to back championships didn’t fulfill his dream of becoming a celebrity football guy if he didn’t receive the credit he was pursuing.

The rest is history which will taint his legacy.

Hire a competent GM. That alone changes everything.

Well said.

I still see fans who have no idea of how badly Jerry hamstrings this org.

Just look what happened to Washington. They now have hope for the future. We're stuck with Later day AL Davis and his idiot son Mark. Jerry could have went down in history as a great owner. Turn the team over to football men. It worked with Jimmy. He could even look at his predecessor Clint Murchison who was a great owner. Of course people think of those teams as beng Landry and Schramm s teams
Jerry can't run a team like that. Not enough credit.
