Newman said he didn't take a freezing shot before game

Anyone else catch that comment by commentators early on. Newman refused to take freezing in the foot. He seemed to move pretty well in there. Wasn't scared to nail Kreutz on an interception. Got in on a pass break up.

I wonder if that thing is gonna tear entirely or is it almost healed. He could be useful against Rams who have a decent downfield passing game.

wow. Newman must have a very high pain threshold.

Considering that he has sat out almost 6 weeks, it should be pretty close to be healthy.
