It is easy for a fan to plug into a generalized view of a star team or a star player. This convenience can throw a fan into a routine or desire of looking for a hero or team they can easily claim as one of the very top in the league. Those teams don't stay at that level for long periods of time unless their Head Coach are extremely experienced with levels of success and have a leadership vantage from which to observe and adjust. This is where Mike McCarthy has a start point for success, on a level comparable to an Andy Reid or a Bill Bellichick. These three currently a very strong element against all opponents. The team may need a future remake for next season, but this group is a valid strength and makes variety of attacks successful.
The defense is for real finally, and contributes strongly at a top shelf level as well. This defense is led by a dominant coach by proven league standards, in Dan Quinn. He handles the intricacies of the box area and is assisted by a very strong secondary coach in Al Harris. Players who have become top shelf in skill levels and also leadership start with Micah Parsons. He has a ton going for him, and is adding to his leadership through learning to be a step ahead of a league wide attempt at holds. He is top shelf and supported by team producers that include: DeMarcus Lawrence (10 yrs), Osa Odighizuwa, Trevon Diggs, Stephon Gilmore (12 yrs), and DaRon Bland. The safety and linebackers fill in to make style of the defense adaptable and effective. The defensive line and secondary are the strength here. They produce both sacks and turn-overs.
