I think McCarthy is pissed and he’s going to throw his weight around a little more - literally. He will implement a new offense and decisions will be made regarding zeke and pollard. On the defensive side Quinn will have a say in acquiring a few free agents that fit in the scheme but I guess we’ll see.

I would shop Diggs or Lamb and see if I could find someone willing to give up several picks of quality draft capital.
For some reason, I feel like that scares the hell out of Jerry and/or Stephen. It's funny that Jerry is considered such and amazing business man, but absolutely SUCKS at the business end of football operations e.g. contracts, trades, etcetera.

What changes do you see happening this year regarding players (draft, FA, trades); coaches; schemes, etc.
Changes? What changes are needed? They won 12 games this season and Jerry is happy. Playoff and super bowl wins are overrated and unnecessary.

I expect no trades unless Diggs gets really crazy and they have no choice. Draft will feature some combo of CB, RB, LB, DL and OL. Given all the FAs I expect a fair amount of turnover. I really hope they sign Wilson and McGovern. FAs will be more of the same...dumpster diving. I think there is zero chance they sign a guy like Payne. Let's pray they have another draft like 2022 which looks great so far.

I predict Zeke takes a pay cut and stays and Pollard gets tagged.

I think if there’s a risk of losing anyone in free agency it is Donovan Wilson. A team could offer him a big deal to start and I think Jerry would be hesitant to match considering we have Kearse there.

I don’t see us signing anyone significant from other teams in free agency. Biggest name in play will probably be OBJ. Our last big FA signing from another team was 10+ years ago, so it’s a philosophy they’ve certainly settled on.

I think CB is the target in round 1 and will become even more certain once Diggs holds out of team workouts for a new deal.

Offense will look similar next season. Possible upgrade at LG but I thought McGovern was strong at the end of last season. Schultz will be replaced by Fergie and OBJ will probably be our #2/3 WR.

Defense will get a 1st round corner and depth signings on the line, but I expect LVE and Fowler to be re-signed. Very little change there as well.

Roster will be tweaked but don’t expect anything different next season.

Its actually too emotional to think about. I get this sinking feeling that Jerry is going to bring back Zeke and then it wont matter what we do.

If they bring back Zeke there is truly no hope for the Cowboys until someone else owns the team.

Next year we will have all the same holes as last year plus a few more.

We will be assured that Dak is in the best shape of his life and throwing the ball better than he ever has.

We will make a few "honest offers" but nothing will come of it.

In the draft we will take a guy who sells jerseys instead of a guy who wins football games

We got the Brady AND road playoff win Monkies off our backs, this team is destined for greatness! We'll bring back as many of our own free agents as we can and fill in the rest through the draft and blue light special free agency. We can't lose I tell ya!!!!!!

If they had a correct contract with #4 they could resign Diggs and find a player opposite him in the draft AND a #2 receiver in the draft opposite Lamb……if a man is getting over 20% of the teams salary cap he better be a baller.

Corky did/does not want to call plays....he has made that VERY evident several times already since arriving in Dallas.....make no mistake, he is being FORCED to call plays...this was NOT his decision, so please do not think for one second that he had any "Come to Jesus" meeting with Booger and Chuckles, where he demanded to take over the reigns. The guy is inherently lazy, and all this does is eliminate one of his primary scapegoats. Sorry Emmitt....."escapegoats"....:muttley:

We will sit out the first 2 rounds of free agency and dumpster dive after. We will hit on our 1st rounder and draft an injured 2nd rounder who should have been a first.
