9/11/01 has a special place in my heart and will forever... it's kind of weird but me and my brother then had tickets to see the Cowboys in 2001, the second week of the season, Sunday at noon... Ironically 9/11 happened the Tuesday that same week. Dallas was scheduled to play none other than San Diego too... We had to wait a week because the game we had tickets to was cancelled. Nevertheless due to the circumstances, I didn't mind at all. Going to the make up game the following week, as the star spangled banner was being sung by Martina McBride... we get to the top of the corridor on the second level and we see an American Flag, which completely covers the WHOLE FIELD... Talk about some memories. Oh BTW, LT ran all over the Cowboys too.

I liked you post and 9-11 is a very heavy hearted day for all people

But just FYI LT ran 27 times for 90 yards and 0 TD's and a 3.3 ypc

I also remember him taking a screen pass for about a 75 yard TD also...

Flutie had about 350 yards passing that day...

Cowboys turned it over too many times to be any sort of a threat in the end.

No 75 yard pass

He had 27 recieving yards and 0 TDs

Flutie did have 348 and 2 TDs tho

must've been a penalty :p: A Wright did throw 3 picks which offset his TDs, but we just didn't have an answer for Flutie, our CBs were Larrimore and Edwards I think... Goodrich was working his way back at the #3 CB spot after his injury the year before. Flutie's TE Freddie Jones looked like Kellen Winslow that day.
