Based on the lack of FA spending thus far (which is pretty par for the course for this FO) it looks as if Dallas may be headed to a possible rebuild. Im assuming things stay as they are with Dak (contract wise) and he's a FA after this season. Next years QB class looks weak as of right now. Of course, you always have those that surprise everyone, but as it stands now its not a good year to need a starting caliber QB. Do yall have your eyes on any college QB's that you feel may be a good candidate to be the cowboys next QB? :flagwave:

Not a great draft class at all.

Wait until you see the Free Agent class, especially #1, #7, and #18.

Draft (rankings from PFN)

1) Carson Beck, Georgia
2) Shedeur Sanders, Colorado
3) Cameron Ward, Miami (FL)
4) Jalen Milroe, Alabama
5) Graham Mertz, Florida
6) DJ Uiagalelei, Florida State
7) Noah Fifita, Arizona
8) Conner Weigman, Texas A&M
9) Jalon Daniels, Kansas
10) Quinn Ewers, Texas

Free Agents
  1. Dak Prescott Cowboys
  2. Jared Goff Lions
  3. Jordan Love Packers
  4. Sam Darnold Vikings
  5. Trevor Lawrence Jaguars
  6. Zach Wilson Jets
  7. Trey Lance Cowboys
  8. Jacoby Brissett Patriots
  9. Tua Tagovailoa Dolphins
  10. Taylor Heinicke Falcons
  11. Jarrett Stidham Broncos
  12. Andy Dalton Panthers
  13. Justin Fields Bears
  14. Jameis Winston Browns
  15. Mike White Dolphins
  16. Mac Jones Jaguars
  17. Case Keenum Texans
  18. Cooper Rush Cowboys
You can forget about #3 and #5, they will be Franchise Tagged or re-signed. My guess is #2 and #9 will be extended before next off-season as well.

PFN's rankings are subpar. They don't even have Riley Leonard in their top 10 sheesh.

Gross…

Beck and Sanders don’t have the arm talent IMO. If we’re planning on wasting this year and drafting a QB next year that would suck.

If that's the case you better off getting Dak to agree to a trade right now and use draft/player capital to go get a QB this season.

Let the rookie get some experience so they can be competitive next year.

We won't be bad enough to get in the top 10 anyways. 2026 is the yearnwe would take a QB

Jalon Daniels from Kansas looked good one game I watched, like highly impressive. But, the group does look subpar. Also, sometimes guys take they're game to another level, so maybe these QBs improve.

Trey Lance could have a trade market next offseason due to the weak QB class.
