With as much talk about the Eagles draft, Giants and Commanders got excellent players in Banks and Forbes

Last year, the Giants added Thibodeaux and Neal ( although Neal had some struggles). Dotson looked like he was going to be a strong #2 WR. There is some question about Jordan Davis's overall value, but he is a very run defender and still has the talent to develop as a rusher.

It looks like the division is shaking those weak 2019-2021 years. I really think that hurt us in 2021. The division looks like it start being a 17 week dog fight soon of not now. I think thats a good thing.

Commanders went 6-3-1 last year in games Wentz did not start. Will be a wild year
It will be interesting to see how the change in ownership effects the team. I think it can only be an energizing thing. Possibly the worst culture in all of sports.

It will be interesting to see if the Giants can validate their 2022 this season

Can’t believe NY didn’t bring in a star FA Wr or 1st round one. Eagles 3-0’d them 108-45. What are they expecting to do without a downfield passing game?

I don’t agree with this comment. Giants have won a Super Bowl without having an All Pro stud #1 WR…I don’t think that is a requirement to win it all. Maybe we trade to pick one up or maybe we draft one in round two, but I’m happy with what we have:

Parris Campbell looks very promising
isaiah Hodgins looked very good last year when we picked him up
wandale Robinson looked very good before he got injured
Sterling Shepard, when healthy is always reliable
Darius Slayton has been serviceable when he plays and has speed (bad hands too)

and of course hopefully our new TE, Waller can be that #1 receiver. Bellinger is a very good up and coming back up TE

No, if you ask me, we need a CB and C before we need another WR.

You forgot jamison crowder. The giants added a number of small moveable athletes with similar abilities. They like the three tight ends they have. They need a center and another back. Crowder was supposed to be the Bills slot wr last year but he was hurt early and lost for the year. Now he is with the guy who really runs this offense in Brian Daboll.

Hyperbole of All-pro guys aside, When was that? 1986? Plaxico absolutely was the engine of your offense in 2007, in 2008 he was ripping up the league until he shot himself and then you guys fizzled out. 2011 you had maybe the best WR combo in the league in Nicks and Cruz.

Eli’s career very much yo-yos depending on the star receivers he has at any given time with those guys or Odell. The valleys in between are noticeable. If you really want to get 40m$ AAV out of Daniel Jones, you’ve got to build around him.

We can't expect the rest of the league to stand still for us. Of course everyone tries to get better. But paper rosters don't always work out as expected. The key for the Giants is their OL. If they improve there, the could be a really good team. If not, then Jones can be pressured into mistakes and Barkley will not break many long runs.

You guys did need a CB bad, but you need an alpha WR too. You have a good group, but those are all solid #3 guys. I think you guys should be locked on Mingo in round 2. Banks and Mingo in 1&2 would be very good haul

Mingo seems to be very popular with some Giant fans.

I prefer the name TORRENCE, SCHMITZ, OR POSSIBLY STROMBERG. I want a large body to block large DTs. Plus, when was the last time NY had a bona fide center, not just some converted guard or tackle?

I agree….but first things first….let’s protect him. I’m sure you saw both Cowboy games and probably 1-2 Eagle games last year. Jones was besieged. This has to stop…..

Funny you mentioned Crowder….I knew we had another but couldn’t pull the name out of my brain. Sometimes that happens to me…one of the drawbacks at hitting 70 years old I suppose.
