Going to be a off season to remember. Dallas will find out today if they move forward to a show down with Tampa Bay or Rams/Cardinals but have to get past the 49ers today. Then will either Quinn or Moore leave for HC jobs or stay.
Yet there are other items that could effect our draft and what we might or might not look forward. The Giants are said to be considering Brian Flores as their next HC if the Giants can pull off a trade for DeShaun Watson and considering they have the 5th and 7th picks in the draft it is a definite possibility. They could keep Daniel Jones for a while at least until Watson legal problems are cleared up..
And the Eagles are supposedly discussing trading for not Watson but Russell Wilson, and with 3 first round picks it would definitely be possible. Imagine Eagles giving all 3 picks in the first and Jalen Hurt for Wilson, geez!
How would that effect our draft? For me it says we need another dynamic LB or DE to contain Wilson and Watson because they are always a threat to run plus they are both good passers. The East would go from being the least to the best division in football.
The draft will be as critical this year as last year in building/maintaining a great defense.
And don't count out the WFT or Admirals or whatever they will be called. At least they would never trade for Aaron Rodgers, well at least I hope they wouldn't.
