NFCE has 8 wins, the most of any div in NFL !
Also has 3 teams with winning records, only the NFCN has that too.
And it has the only unbeaten team, you guys will love this, the EAGLES ! LOL.

Eagles defense has allowed 50 points, to dallas 52, so their defense must be good too??
Amazingly TB has only allowed 27 points !! that is 9 points a game!
SF is 37 points which is very good also.
Then next is
Eagles 50
Dallas 52 so by this measure dallas is # 4 defense

There are 3 teams in AFC that have allowed in the 30's
Denver @ 36
Buffalo @ 38
Jaguars @ 38 this might allow them to win more?

NFCW has gone from tough div to meh.

Looking at the Jags, if they have a really good defense, I can see them winning 10 games and maybe making playoffs.
They have scored 84 points, and only lost the close 1st game to wash. after that they dominated Indy, then Chargers, so who knows.

Would be fun to see them rise up this year, pederson is the new HC, the one who led eagles to SB.
They play the eagles this sun on cbs, so now I am thinking of picking Jags to win, as you know he wants to beat Philly !
Game is in Philly though, so they have that advantage.
The odds are -6.5 philly so jags getting no respect ! lol. Yeah the stage is set for a big upset !

They will still call it NFC Least as soon as the eagles lose, just because they like the way it sounds

Have you been doing some time-travel this year? Heard it is becoming popular.

DD, you know your my friend, but I can't agree with you on this one. Despite our Cowboys having some success in recent times & the Egals winning the SB in 2018, this division still ranks among the worst in the NFL.

The New York Giants have been terrible for a number of years now. Some argue that won’t change until they move away from Danny Dimes. The Wentzie squad could be a threat, but I doubt he's the answer to Washington. He’s not lit the league up since the season the Egals won that SB. His regression since has been dramatic.

AFC WEST is the strongest & toughest IMO.

We will see how it plays out over the course of the season but while some love to call us NFC East some of these other division are not looking good. NFC South does not look like much, NFC West looks bad, AFC South looks bad. Things change in the NFL what a team did last years means nothing.

Eagles beat a Lions team, and could have easily lost., beat a Vikings team that may be worse than everyone thought. Beat the Commander's, lol.
But they still won. They gave up 44 points to the 1st 2 opponents, 8 points, one being a garage TD to Washington.

Dallas lost to SB contender and favorite TB, with a not so good game by Dak (he won't have that type of a game again). Beat SB team Bengals, who should have beaten the Steelers, and beat the undefeated NYG, if they were the real Giants or not, who knows. Have not given up over 20 points in a game yet.

However, all that at this point does not mean a whole lot. All I am happy for, is I think we can say our defense is for real. Eagles, maybe, usually a top front 7 in the NFL, but their offense has not faced a tough defense yet.
We have, TB, and the Bengals is not a bad defense, they can be pretty good, and the NYG has some decent players, they can play a good game, or a not so good game at times.

First. Let's see what happen against Washington, but the real test, if one is into the next test myth, is at the Rams.

Maybe we should wait until at least, IDK mid season?
As long as starters are getting 0 time in pre season and little contact in practice the whole NFL is going to look like do do for at least 8 weeks then things will shake out
Just say'n

Right, as these first 2 to 4 games are like the preseason games for many players in a way. I would not say, exactly like a preseason game. As all the starters are out there, and the games are game planned.
But we see how the OL improved each week. And should get better. We are seeing some missed timed deep throws, but in a week or 2 , they connect on those.

They were talking to Joe Burrow after the game last night. Asking about his OL.
Sacked 15 times the 1st 2 games, and only 3 that last 2 games, only 1 time lat in the game last night. They revamped their OL, I think 4 new starters, so yeah they needed 3 or 4 games to improve.

Yup especially our defense being so young the only way they're gonna learn each other's strengths and weaknesses is playing together

If you go by the news media ..... Eagles would have won the superbowl every year since 2001.

I am not buying it

Well I am not saying they will be the toughest all season ! lol just right now.
They have the most wins, so that is something that hasnt happened in a good while, even at this early stage.

They may all collapse, but maybe not , have to wait and see. But it is a good start, wins matter no matter who they beat or how.

About wentz, he is facing same problem heineke faced, sacks and pressure due to problems on oline or not getting ball out quickly.
Funny that all except wash now seem to have good defenses.

The Giants stink. You lose credibility when you crap on the Eagles schedule but then turn around and try to argue the Giants might have been a quality opponent.

I agree that once Russell Wilson gets acclimated with the Broncos, it is no contest.

An argument can be made that the NFC East division is the toughest in the conference and entire league before the end of the NFL's first quarter. What happens if the data validating the conclusion implodes during the course of the season?
