I am getting some definite football fatigue. Between college and the NFL there are games on seemingly every night of the week.

Three games on Xmas? I may only watch one.

Personally, that's the best time of year. I plan for Dallas and atexas games...the rest, is just gravy. Nice to know, I can watch a game just about anytime I want. Even HS games are televised 3 days a week.

What it really is, the NFL is sticking with the two games as they did last year.
But with Christmas falling on a Thursday, they want to keep the Amazon TNF game as well.
Exactly how is that adding a 3rd game?

There will be 2 Christmas afternoon games same as last year. There will be a Thursday night game same as last year.

That was how it was reported on the financial news channels I was watching.
I guess I should have clarified that?
I thought I explained it in in my OP.

Cowboys are going to be long out of the playoff hunt by that point so doesn't really matter this year unfortunately

Now this is not as bad as it seems.
On the news they were acting like this is all greed. Though they are not wrong either.

Of course they are. Money matters...........

I miss the days when the games were played on Sunday and Monday.

I like the extra game days. What I do not like, is they are pretty much pay per view having to have all the other streaming services.

Luckily I already had those services.

Well they did play in that Christmas day playoff game in 1971 vs Miami. Grasping at straws here for tradition. Probably people will to pay for Netflix to watch Mahomes when they have had their fill of relatives more likely motive.
