Cannot understand why anyone would pay for a ticket to see any of these games. Might as well just flush it down the toilet. I would say that the NFL should be embarrassed taking money for these games, but i know they are not.

I like the 3 game preseason schedule.

4 games were too many.

I think I paid like $15 for the one I went to. Had a good time.

You fail to appreciate the preseason games for what they are. It's not about the starters or winning. It's about whittling down the roster to the best group of 52. If you can't appreciate it for what it is then I can understand why you don't appreciate the preseason games at all.

i think one can have an appreciation of the pre-season but think that its absolutely not worth the cost of the printing of the ticket to ATTEND the game (which was more how i took his post).

I, like you, enjoy the process of watching the players develop esp in the 1H of the games when you mix in starters with 2nd/3rds. However, i would never ever pay a dollar to go to a preseason game live.

I will probably go to the game here in Denver.

Hopefully, the starters will get some playing time with the preseason cut to 3 games.

How could you accurately see what you have in certain players without those games?

I wouldn't think they would at all be boring for most that hang around here.

You must not be interested in watching emerging stars or the young guys fight for roster spots or care about who makes the final 53 and PS players.

Our first two games are late in the evening. So much for watching third and fourth quarters.

Jerry actually lowered the ticket prices to preseason games, though raised price on regular season games...(let the whining begin )

Anyway...
Some people want to see a game or to see the stadium, and this is their chance to do so. As many season tickets holders, when they had to pay full price for the seats. Would sell them at a much reduced cost. So it was more affordable to some fans to go and take their families.

My tickets were $340 each. I worked out of town at times, so many times I would sell them for $100. I had GREAT seats, so they always sold. I sold them one time for $75. I usually got $150 to $200.
However one time someone paid me full price for them to see a Ravens PS game. Not sure if they wanted to go that bad, or if they were confused and thought it was a regular season game.

Also through the team website, you could donate tickets to charity. I did that a few times as well. If they were not sold like a day before the game. So underprivileged or handicapped kids could go to a game. After I reduced them to the $75 the one time, the next time I decided to donate them.

Interesting preseason selection for game days - spread them out over several days each week.
