Us fans, we pretty much know which prospects the Cowboys Brass is interested with, now without the private workouts/visits, it is going to be a far more difficult job projecting who they are going to take. We have to use prior tendencies and profiles.

But yet they have a Senior Bowl? This makes no sense. Have to wear a mask,no audience,but players will play no masks and huddle up....I will tell you what is Matrix creepy? When they pipe in crowd noise in a empty stadium.
 
The NFL successfully drafted players for decades without private workouts, pro days, visits or the Combine with its zany 15 minute interviews. LMAO, the Cowboys spent the entire 15 talking about Manziel's off the field shenanigans and Booger still wanted to take him.

If scouts need any of that, they need new scouts.

And some of these audio techs are really bad at knowing when to hit certain buttons. They need a sign posted "WE ARE THE HOME TEAM".

There is this one "tape" that all of them have that reminds me of the laugh tracks on all the old 60's sitcoms and you can hear this one woman scream at the very end. I actually listen for that when I watch the games and it's there, every stadium has it. They should give her residuals because she's great!

Agreed. Honestly it will hurt a lot of people. Also it’s going to be hard to guess who’s going where in the top 10

This going to be the best draft ever for suspense and intrigue. Except for Lawrence who really knows what teams think of players. I really have no idea what the Cowboys are going to do at 10 and I actually like that.

I forgot the show I was watching but they said the issue was making a deal Indianapolis who has the whole NCAA basketball tournament this season. I don’t know why Jerrah didn’t make a deal with the NFL and bring it to the Dallas Fort Worth area. That would be right up the Cowboys ally.

You're exactly right......it's why I've said, teams with the best scouting departments/evaluators are going to kill it.
 
I’m not advocating for any of these measures...but it is the year 2021. You can accomplish most of the same things over a zoom meeting in terms of interviews. And I don’t think the pro day format should be that hard to figure out for workouts. Although it sounds like some of the lesser known/small school guys could get hurt.

The medical exams will be the real issue. No idea what they will do about that.

The Senior Bowl can work as a "bubble" much like how the NBA and NHL conducted their seasons. Players, coaches and scouts will likely be thoroughly tested prior and there will be protocols in place to help limit infection/spread. There isn't that level of control during random team visits.
