Highly doubt coaches sat down and ranked a top 10. This is for the sports talk shows.

Some forget Brandon Carr had 11 as a rookie and that put him on the stage. Sustaining that is a lot harder. And he had some coverage liability as well.

Picks are great but job #1 is to not let the play be completed. He has ball skills which is a huge improvement on Dallas' recent secondaries.

Agree 100% ....he could very well be a better player with fewer interceptions.
And I’ll be perfectly fine with that. Hope he hones in on his coverage skills as he matures. He has a huge upside barring injury.

Mistaking Brandon Carr for someone else-
Everson Walls...he had 11 as a rookie in 1981- which led the NFL that season.

Carr had 2 interceptions his rookie year and 4 interceptions was his career high which he did once with the Chiefs and once with the Ravens.

Also 2 interceptions in the playoffs that season.
And then he had 7 the next season in 1982. 9 in 1985

Was Walls a 4.6…40 guy? Maybe high 4.5s. He was good for several years. Carr couldn’t tote his jock.
