LSU: MARCH 9
Not only did LSU players work out here, but they will again on March 31. A dozen teams were represented there. Notable scouts in attendance were New Orleans' Rick Thompson and the Giants' Jeremiah Davis.

Also of note, three of LSU's players -- DE Marcus Spears, CB Corey Webster and OL Ben Wilkerson -- did not work out citing injuries. They may give it a go on March 31.

Travis Daniels S
Daniels (6-0½, 192) ran his 40s for times of 4.57 and 4.55. He had a 37-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-2 long jump, a 4.07 short shuttle and a 6.86 in the three-cone drill.

Marcus Randall
Randall is an interesting case. He's probably one of the best athletes of the draft, but he's not being looked at as a quarterback even though he was the MVP of the Tigers' bowl game this year. He stood in at 6-1 5/8 and weighed 229 pounds. He ran 4.59 and 4.60 in the 40, had a 36-inch vertical, a 9-foot-3 long jump, a 4.21 short shuttle, a 6.92 in the three-cone drill and 14 strength reps.

Lionel Turner LB
Turner (6-0 7/8, 260) ran his 40s for times of 4.91 and 4.98. He had a 31½-inch vertical, a 9-foot-5 long jump, a 4.66 in the short shuttle, a 7.40 in the three-cone drill, and didn't do any reps, citing a shoulder injury.

NEBRASKA: MARCH 9 Close to 25 teams were represented at Nebraska. Chiefs player guru Lynn Stiles was there, along with 14 different defensive backs coaches including the Cowboys' Todd Bowles. Nebraska has several good DBs entering the draft, so this was definitely a secondary hot spot.

The workouts were held indoors on FieldTurf.

Josh Bullocks S
Bollocks worked out at the combine, running for times of 4.46 and 4.50. Here, he ran for 4.47 and 4.51. He added 13 reps and did all the position drills and looked very good.

ruud_barrett.jpg

Barrett Ruud LB Ruud ran 4.72 and 4.75 in his 40s and did 7.08 in the three-cone drill.

washington_fabian.jpg

Fabian Washington CB
Washington wowed scouts at the combine by running for times of 4.29 and 4.31 in the 40, and had a 41½-inch vertical jump. That's very good. We will put up his workout results in the near future.

Willie Amos CB
Amos opened some eyes. He was 6-0, 186, ran a 4.37 and 4.37 in the 40, had a 41-inch vertical, a 9-foot long jump, a 4.14 short shuttle and a 6.87 three-cone drill.

Mike Erickson OG
Erickson, who was not at the combine, worked out here at 6-3 5/8 and 304 pounds. He had a 36-inch vertical, a 7-foot-11 long jump, a 4.83 in the 40, a 4.64 in the short shuttle, a 7.43 in the three-cone drill and 26 reps. He was an eye opener in the positional drills.

Ira Cooper LB
Cooper ran a 4.57 and 4.61 in the 40-yard dash. He had a 37-inch vertical, a 9-foot-8 long jump, a 4.17 short shuttle, a 7.07 cone and 18 strength reps.

Lornell McPherson CB
McPherson was 5-9 3/8, 175 pounds, and he ran his 40s in 4.53 and 4.51. He had a 38-inch vertical, a 10-foot long jump, a 4.28 short shuttle and a 7.26 three-cone drill.

Bernard Thomas DE/LB
Thomas, a collegiate DE that will play LB, ran his 40s in 4.98 and 4.99.

OKLAHOMA: MARCH 9 Well, this turned out to be quite a spectacle as 15 players worked out for 75 NFL player personnel people. In addition, NFL Network was on hand covering the Pro Day. So I guess you could say this was a popular place to be.

All of the players did positional drills, but several of them stood on their times from the combine (you can do that when you work out and do well in Indianapolis -- another benefit to working out at the combine). The players ran inside the old Oklahoma fieldhouse, then did positional drills in OU's new fieldhouse.

Jammal Brown OT
Brown stood on his numbers from the combine and opted to only do positional drills.

cody_dan.jpg

Dan Cody DE
Cody (6-5¼, 257) ran the 40 twice for times of 4.75 and 4.76. He had a 33-inch vertical, a 10-foot-1 long jump, a 4.56 in the short shuttle and a 7.09 in the cone drill.

clayton_mark.jpg

Mark Clayton WR
Clayton stood on his numbers from the combine and opted to only do positional drills.

pool_brodney.jpg

Brodney Pool S
Pool was 6-1, 201 pounds, had a 39-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-8 long jump, ran a 4.54 and a 4.55 in the 40, a 4.50 short shuttle and a 7.25 in the three-cone drill.

Mark Bradley WR
Bradley stood on his numbers from the combine and opted to only do positional drills.

Vince Carter C
Carter worked out at 6-2¾ and 293 pounds. He had a 30-inch vertical, a 7-foot-3 long jump, then ran 5.75 and 5.74 in the 40. Vince had a great career with the Sooners and was bothered by a medical problem in his right knee. I doubt these times are indicative of what he could run when healthy.

Jonathan Jackson DE
Jackson played DE in college but might be converted to a linebacker at the NFL level. He measured up at 6-2 7/8 and 235 pounds, had a 37-inch vertical, a 10-foot-4½ long jump, a 4.60 and 4.60 in the 40, a 4.41 short shuttle and a 7.45 in the three-cone drill.

Brandon Jones WR
Jones was 6-1 3/8 and 208 pounds. He ran a 4.47 and 4.45 in the 40, a 4.09 short shuttle and that was all. To give a comparison, Jones ran 4.40 and 4.43 at the combine.

Lynn McGruder DT
McGruder was 6-1¼, 303 pounds, and ran a 5.05 and 5.0 flat in the 40.

Lance Mitchell LB
Mitchell, who ran at the combine, did again here for times of 4.89 and 4.87 in the 40.

Donte Nicholson S
Nicholson (6-1¼, 209) did a 34-inch vertical, a 10-foot-3 long jump, a 4.58 and 4.55 in the 40, a 4.25 in short shuttle and a 7.23 in the three-cone drill.

Will Peoples WR
Peoples (6-0 5/8, 200) had a 34-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-4 long jump, a 4.60 and 4.66 in the 40, a 4.28 short shuttle and a 7.06 in the three-cone drill.

Antonio Perkins CB
Perkins ran the 40 three times. His first try was at 4.50, his second was at 4.56, but he slipped, and he pulled up short on his third try.

Wes Sims OL
Sims stood on his numbers from the combine and opted to only do positional drills, but he did try the three-cone drill for a time of 7.60.

Jason White QB
White ran 40s for times of 4.99 and 5.0, and did the short shuttle in 4.29 and the three-cone drill in 7.30. Other than that, he just did positional drills.

Does anybody have any info on Travis Daniels from LSU? The #s above looked pretty respectable, but I dont recall paying attention to his game play

Dan Cody didn't look good from what I saw.

I'm a big Sooner fan, and would like to see us get him, but I'm hoping his sub-par workout maybe drops him to the second round.
