Why would they think it will be less injuries.
I guess they want controlled joint practices instead of PS games?
Just add an 18th game. Eliminate PS games, and have joint controlled scrimmages. However the owners will lose revenue from charging the season tickets holders for those games.
Though Jerry reduced the season ticket prices, but raised regular season ticket prices a few year back or so.
