Haynesworth will be active, but won't start vs. Cowboys
Albert Haynesworth will be active when the Washington Commanders host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, but will not start, according to a league source.
The highly paid defensive lineman has yet to play or practice regularly with the starters, but is slated to see work in nickel packages and passing situations, according to the source.
The news comes one day after Commanders tight end Chris Cooley told a Washington-area radio station that in addition to practicing with the team's nickel packages, Haynesworth had been working with the scout team this week....
