"For the first time in 2023, Prescott propelled the Cowboys to victory. Sure, he got some help from his opportunistic defensive teammates, but make no mistake: Prescott was as sharp as can be on Sunday. He finished 28 of 34 for 261 yards, one touchdown and a sparkling 108.5 passer rating. He delivered on-target throws under pressure, occasionally even while being taken to the ground. And he earned an early departure in a blowout win. The only note for Prescott: convert more red-zone opportunities."

Some Notable:

Dak jumps up 5 spots to #8
Josh Allen has the top spot?
Mahomes at #3?
Purdey at #7

Well I guess the Dak Fans will be happy about this one. I'm not sure that Prescott propelled the cowboys to victory. At least it doesn't seem like it with our Red Zones woes.

Look!

I like people keep talking about the new word in red zone,

you realize that there were three drop passes so far this year in the end zone, there were one call back because of penalty, and another one that Michael Gallup got mugged or should have been a pass interference but they picked up the flag , that would have got the ball at the one and I'm betting we would have scored from there but those opportunities were not because of Prescott those opportunities were our offense...
we're talking about Prescott the quarterback not the Dallas cowboy offense which there's plenty of reasons in the Arizona game missing 3 Pro Bowl offensive lineman the first game we're outdoors in the rain, we've had lopsided winds where we didn't need to push the ball into the end zone,
I mean come on dude seriously this is a team game he's getting his props because as a quarterback he's played very well this year if not great he can't help circumstances in situational football has kept them from scoring more end zone touchdowns but they're still scoring a **** ton of points and that's all that matters...
.
I mean the only loss of the season in Arizona they're gonna say well he didn't play well dude missing 3 Pro Bowl offensive lineman having dudes in your face with only a four man rush so then they're playing Max coverage as a zone with two deep safeties and just clogging up everything there was no separation and then the defense sucked and then all the penalties so there has not been a game yet that I looked at and go man if the quarterback were to play better we'd have won the game no he's like very well each game has had its own story..

So if you wanna start a thread about the offense and the red zone woes that's fine but don't say he doesn't deserve to be higher as if it's his fault they're not scoring more in the red zone I say nonsense to that...

I’m really appreciating Dak’s ball security. This was the number one concern for almost everyone on the board and there’s been a true return to form that he showed in previous years.

Our turnover margin is not just a defensive stat. The entire offense is committed to avoiding turnovers.

If Dak turned the ball over as much as Jackson has so far, the national media would be asking for his job.
For what it’s worth Jackson has only turned it over 4 times. 3 lost fumbles and 1 INT. Same as Mahomes, Hurts, Tua and less than Josh Allen. He’s staying the pocket more this year and it’s opening him up to more strip sacks.

How the heck can hurts be 5th with the eagles miserable pass offense. He doesn't have much in the way of rushing yards either. Something's not right.
I think this list is pretty bad overall but as bad as the Eagles offense has been they’re averaging more pass yards per game than Dallas.

i dont understand writers these days

"sure Dak got some help from his defense"

thats whats supposed to happen.....the defense job is to put the offense on a short field
The defense only has 1 less touchdown scored than Dak does this year.

When the defense doesn't play lights out (Arizona). We lose.

Thats why it’s brought up.

Fewer turnovers = good

Fewer TD's = bad

Has anyone considered why there are fewer turnovers? The offense is extremely conservative and doesn't take any risks. This has also resulted in one of the worst redzone offenses in the NFL so far this season. Something has to give...

I am happy you brought this up.

CMC has 6 TDs-Purdy has 5.

So when CMC doesnt score. San fran doesnt win. AKA they lose. I dont see you bringing that up though.

Also. If you subtract the defensive touchdowns from Dallas. They still win all those games. If you take away CMCs touchdowns from San Fran. They arent undefeated. Interesting. Of course your response will be. "I dont care about other teams"
