this sould tell the Hyatt lover to not rely on these ranking, imo NFL teams will have even wilder ranking this draft too and much different than media rankings.

Yeah, NFL.com can be waaayyy off.

CBS Sports.com, who used to be pretty decent, are off on so many prospects that I haven’t even looked at their rankings in a couple of years or so. They’re awful.

Notice the gap difference in the Overall and the Rank from the first group of 16 to the last group of 16. Expected, but interesting to see.

Teams can be off too and often are even in round one. More telling would be the rankings from three years ago and how those players are doing today.

I think The Draft Network does a good job on their rankings. And Brugler, of course.

Yeah, I look at TDN a good bit. PFF is okay too.

All of them can be off. You always need to use a big dose of common sense when looking at anyone’s rankings. After looking at several sites and watching some mocks on YouTube from guys that I trust and respect (NFL Stock Exchange/Brett Kollmann), you start to get a pretty good idea of where guys should be ranked / be drafted.

And of course, as time goes on there will be prospects that will rise and some that will fall.

By this time of the draft cycle, I feel like I have a pretty good grip on the draft.

But like always… there will be surprises.

Nice. I’ll have to look in to those YouTube channels.

The NFL Stock Exchange is a couple of PFF guys who also do their own channel. It is Trevor Sikkema and Connor Rogers. Both are good and their NFL evaluations happen to parallel the way I think on prospects. They’re good, IMO. Check out some of their Mock Drafts.

Kollmann knows football and is usually good with his evaluations. He has a podcast that he does with another guy called The Bootleg Football Podcast.

I recommend both channels. If you enjoy the draft as much as I do, they both have really good content.

Trevor and Connor actually did a collaborative Mock draft with the Bootleg Football guys a couple of weeks ago. It was fun.

Anyway, yeah, check them out when you have some time.
