Weren't their rumors of Buffalo moving there a while back?

I hope it's not Buffalo moving to Toronto because it's good to see a cheap NFL game once a year, no matter who is playing when the Cowboys aren't.

Is NFL more popular than CFL in Canada? Are the Argos not a big draw in Toronto?

Is this strictly about money?

Yes. The NFL is so much more popular here It's not even funny. Especially in urban places like Toronto.

I can't speak for other areas of Canada. Saskatchewan, BC, etc really follow their CFL teams (thats all they have)


The Argos probably draw about 15 - 20,000 people when they play. But an NFL franchise in Toronto would just completely **** over the CFL.

And yes, I think it is more about the money then anything. But realistically, how does the 4th largest market in NA not have a team?

Everyone is different. Theres not one team that everybody follows, and thats largely because we have no team here.

Lots of Steeler fans, Bears, some Cowboys. Bills are very popular but mostly because of the proximity. Everyones different like I said. Not one dominating team.

If Toronto ever gets an NFL team would you become a fan and follow them or continue to support the Cowboys? :D

Doesn't make sense to me that the NFL hasn't jumped on it. But maybe there is something to the article about sponsoring in Canada that hasto do with it? Or maybe it just has bigger fish to fry first, like LA?

BC? Have you forgotten the Vancouver Cannots?

NFL won't come to Canada as long as there isn't a team in LA.
