Folk wasn't doing well, when he was last with us, if you recall. 40-49 yds he was 5-12. You can't miss more than half of those and expect to keep a job. Maybe the next time you can foot the bill to keep a kicker that repeatedly missed fg's. There was absoultely no guarantee that he was going to right himself, and this coming from a Folk supporter.

The only thing we could have done was try and resign him after the season was over. The problem with kickers is that when they go bad like he did, for both physical and mental reasons, it is rare that they come back as good as they were before. Folk appears the exception to the rule. Just another piece of bad luck we had this year.
