Nickelback

Ok, let's talk Nickelback. Where do you stand? People seem to either love them or hate them. Personally, I think the hate was a trendy online bandwagon for people to fit in. I get it if their arena rock sound isn't your style, but hating them for no reason seems silly to me. Music is incredibly diverse, and appreciating different genres and bands can enrich your experience.

I dig them. They have some fantastic albums.

They're a formula rock band that have turned out some very popular stuff. I've never bought any of their stuff, but I'll often turn it up and tap out that beat on the steering wheel when they come on. Coincidentally, Rockstar came on the radio as I was driving yesterday. That inspired me to learn it last night.

I never got the hate either. I agree it just somehow became cool to hate them.

I'm not a fan and would never voluntarily listen to them or purchase their music but I recognize they are a talented band . I don't love them or hate them. They have their place.

I don't listen to any kind of rock/heavy metal/punk/ or <insert all the other sub-genres>, and I couldn't name a single Nickelback song, and I still hate them.
