They must feel they have this covered within or will look at waiver wires, cuts, or possibly a trade after the draft.

Much the same way we were thought we were set at wr last year until it blew up in our face.

Still a few left or G/T prospects. I wouldn't be mad if they sent a pick to another team for a vet G/T either.

The Cowboys really like Matt Farniok and Chuma Edoga.

They should draft a interior OL today also.

Honestly at this point we need to sign a FA for depth. Nothing left in the draft is sufficient cover for the possibility of another Tyron blow out.

I guess they thought TE and LBer were much more critical need before an Olineman. Doesn't make any sense to me but there they went.
should it makes sense to a common casual fan vs a pro scouting department and a very seasoned coaching staff..we have 4 starters locked in , need a LG and have players here to compete for that with many option left like vet FA , a trade etc etc.. whats the problem?

we did draft Ball and Waletzko to compete as well.. drafts not over and roster building never stops , Septembers a long ways away guy.,.

We keep hearing this year after year, but this pro scouting department is the same one who nabbed us Bossman Phat, Jaylon Smith, Trystan Hill, Connor Williams, and Randy Gregory. Sean Lee was good but almost always injured. Diggs, Sam Williams and Demarcus Lawrence are good, but outside of that.

The problem is our 2nd day of the draft record is abysmally bad and we rarely make significant moves in free agency to shore up. If you're going to be a team that depends on the draft 80% to fill the needs of your team, you better hit on almost every high pick.

umm, Conner Wiliams and Awuzie are starting for other teams it happens dont say its all busts , they are not even randy Gregory got PAID from Denver hes got talent another team recognized as well..

so good try sliding some players who were pretty good to your side of a busted narrative, all teams are having the same issues.,

so 2nd round we got Diggs, sam williams, and tank all still here but also awuzie, conner Willimas, and Gregory starting elsewhere, they took shot at Jaylon and at first looked to payoff it happens. but out of 10 last 2nd round choices almost half still playing as starters,

so we are hitting 40% or more show me how that stacks up against other teams , then we get guys like say bland in the 5th? or Osa in the 3rd? pollard and DAK in the 4th these are 2nd and 3rd day hits correct,

we are great drafting team if you actually compare it to other teams. it shows up all over the boards not in the FAN SLOT ..at least we aren't missing on trey lance types i mean how much did SF trade for him , how about zach wilson, and many other 1st round flops from say NYG and PHilly on WRS? didn't KC trade back uop in the first for Clyde Allaire, how's that working out?? again all teams go through this but we are better ranked then most on draft day hits vs misses

not abysmal nor bad just few misses.. next

They let all the good ones pass em by yesterday. John Michael Smitz and others.
"allegedly" good ones ie potential in prospects dont always equal production., good try though,. Steele and doug free was once looked at as jags or misses..fans are not pro scouts. Farniok, chuma, ball, waletzco could all develop or few not but they have addressed it.. if not go get Vet FA or make trade , no need to panic. jeez get off the ledge already

September is 5 months away..

Or RB. We need a starting RB next year because I think the Cowboys are letting Pollard go. So next year every team in the league is going to know were looking for a RB.

Farinok played well last year.
I see him like Biadasz. Only a center
But I think he might develop into a decent center. Like Biadasz he blocks much better left and right, not straight ahead
