No Jerry, this isn't a Super Bowl team

I don't mind Jerry thinking this is a SB team but when talking publicly, he needs to say No or he is not sure if they are a Super Bowl team because this team has never been nor have they shown they are capable of advancing in the playoffs.
One of the big problems we've had here for decades is the team getting sunshine blown up their arses and them believing and then floundering.
Jerry is the main culprit of giving the team false sense of their standing.
Until they show they can win in the Playoffs, treat them as wanna be's.

Did Jerry saying we had a great team in 2014 Cause 29 to fumble the ball? Did Jerry speak aide Rodgers in completing a pass in 2016 that is a 1 out of 100 catch? Did Jerry speak have Dak run with 14 seconds left to go in a game and not be able to get the team reset? Seriously, some of things this fan base focus's on is hard to comprehend. And this team has never lost in the playoffs btw, time will tell if this team bows out early or not.

Praise your guys in public and challenge them in private. Zero issues with Jerrys comments here other than the fact that I would love for an owner to not give consistent interviews at all. I've come to accept that with Jerry that will always be a factor though.

You have an owner coming out saying their team isn't good enough after the total domination of an 8-1 team, and you'll see a lot of guys making business decisions the rest of the way.

I'm not saying they aren't a SB team, I just think it's not wise for Jerry to proclaim it given this team and past teams failure come playoff time.
Whenever this team has success, Jerry declares that they are SB caliber and they fizzle in the playoffs.
Now, is that the reason, who knows. But, if it leads to players getting a false sense of who they are and them not preparing as hard as they can out of overconfidence, that's a problem.
Until they do something of significance, then they don't need to be treated as special. Make them have to earn it on the field.

The players said it themselves. When Zeke was asked about how Jerry’s talking affected the locker room he laughed. Why would it lol they aren’t little kids hanging on his every word, they are pros and they focus on their job. The expectations of every good team is SB, nothing new here.

Trevon and Micah said the same on Ryan Clark’s podcast. They laughed when asked how Jerry affected the locker room. The players don’t care, the fans and media do much much more.
