The writing has been on the wall for the last few weeks, that although winning things were beginning to crumble and today just reinforced everything we already knew. This team isn’t good enough, and this head coach is not nor will ever be the answer. Yes the defense was awful, Dak threw picks, but first starting the game winning the toss and not deferring like every team in the sport and then of course the call that lost the game of 3rd and 10 deep pass allowing then to save the timeout to basically lose the game. In the nfl you need exceptional talent to over come poor coaching and this team has never had that..

McCarthy is not the answer. Until they find a coach who is able to enforce a culture of mental discipline and smarts, they won't win anything in the playoffs. The coaches and players are all not smart

the weak defense no doubt is a huge issue but this team has never had enough talent to over come poor coaching, from Wade Phillips, to JG and now MM, it’s new players, new coaches and it’s the same exact results

Not just the head coach, I will never trust Kellen Moore. The play calling down the stretch was horrid. Soooo predictable. Up 27-10 in the 3rd and can't close out, against the Jags?????

And I'm starting to lose faith in Quinn, but it's more about not having faith in the defense, in general. But the defensive schemes aren't solid either, very little deception.

Dak didn't look great either, and he may never be great, and he'll rarely be perfect. So you need better coaching to take him to the next level, and Moore/McCarthy definitely aren't it.

How could we EVER trust this team as its formed now to win a playoff game???? I don't care who they play in the first round, they'll get outcoached. Even if they beat the Eagles next week, this team STILL won't win a playoff game with this coaching staff.

Coaching matter. And this collection of coaching ain't it.

Forget all the good stats, and the pundits saying this team is one the best in the NFL, don't be fooled. They're simply not "winners".

But having said all of that, all the recent injuries are catching up with us, on both sides of the ball. All of these backups will continue to get exposed as the season winds down, and they'll be fully exploited in the playoffs. So I'll give the coaching staff a bit of a break in that regard.

But still...this is a game they should have won up 27-10, obviously. But when they were 17, it never felt like a "comfortable" lead. I'm sure most of us were still a bit nervous, for good reason.

we have back to back 10 win seasons. thats something. whether its more, i dont know but if we are to be honest we start there.

You guys are clueless. It’s not the coach. It’s the culture. No coach will be successful here. Why? The players know Jerry calls the shots. This season is a perfect example. Great start. Lunch pale mentality develops. Replaced by overconfidence in December. Happens all the time. It’s the Jones family. Period.

How many games over the years has this team failed to play a complete game, or failed to respond to adversity. Its absolutely awful.

Legit question....again, it's NOT all on coaches or players it's the Joneses. Their slimy, smug, crappy ownership taints the whole team come December of EVERY season. They are the issue.
