No More Passes to Zeke

Sorry to be gloom and doom, but it seems that any pass to ZEKE never gets us more than 2 yards. To me it's a wasted play, I'd rather see us just throw it out of bounds. I know he's supposed to be in the flats, but it seems like he's always too close to being out of bounds, so the easiest thing to do is catch it and run out!

I wish we could hit Tony more in the flats, hell maybe even Rico #23 could give us a little something, please give your thoughts...

I wish we would sneak Zeke across the middle a few times. Jmo, but he and Pollard both should hardly ever come off the field.

I wish we would do that with more of our players on OFFENSE everyone always goes deep there's never any short routes

I think we're the worst screen team in football. We can't cover them well and we can't run them very well either. To me it's one of the simplest plays in football and we such at it, why?

Zeke averaged almost 5 yards a carry last night. I too would like more of Tony but last night we had a good mix of both. They both helped us win last night.

Emmitt's bread and butter was short passes in the middle of the field. We don't do that at all. We force all of our RB passes to the sideline.

I don’t mind trying to run an occasional screen with Zeke. I have an issue when we line him up wide as an “extra” receiver.

For get about the money, it is not coming out of your pocket. I know what Zeke is paid and I would agree it is a bad deal but now the season is underway and frankly the money crap mean nothing to me. I will take positive yards over none. All in all Zeke 15 carries for 73 yards 4.9 a carry and a TD.

Why do you all keep bringing up carries??? Lol, not your money either, I have my own money and I know you don't because you're paying me for the thing you owed me for the last 10 years

If the OC has passing plays where a TE or WR doesn't run at least a four yard route, then that's just dumb on OC's part. That's what bothers me. A two yard catch by Lamb is dumb.



The passes to the RB's in the flat are just outlets. They are there to stop the QB from forcing a throw into a tight window. They also remind the defense that they have to cover the whole field. Any yards are better than no yards. So I don't really have a problem with the short passes to our RB's. Because I know they have a larger purpose.

Yeah I am homer, and you are a whiner. Get over myself? I'm fine no issues what so ever. Very realistic I see the negative that this team needs to improve on and things they are doing well. I can appreciate a win and understand a win is never given. I don't expect perfection but I do expect a team to win every time they step out on the field.

Every OC in the NFL has a screen pass to a wide receiver in their playbook. They may know something you don't.

The screen pass to Noah Brown last night was a good call. He took it for about 11yds.
