The slender chance of offensive tackle Marc Colombo and safety-special teams ace Patrick Watkins returning for the Dallas Cowboys this week vanished when they did not particiapte in Wednesday's practice.
Colombo (leg) and Watkins (knee) were able to do rehab work on the field and could return for the first post-season game. Colombo will have missed the final seven games because of the injury. That is the highest number of games missed because of injury by a starter this season.
