When it comes to the OL— The FO has employed a “throw the mashed potatoes against the wall and hope something sticks” approach. Well— it’s times like this that confirm that hope is simply not a strategy.

They KNEW Tyron was going to miss games— bc he has since 2016. This latest injury is not a surprise— or at least it shouldn’t be if you’ve been paying attention.

So what have they done? Cut Collins and Williams. Added Tyler Smith and Waletzko, and counted on Ball developing in year 2. And they of course were counting on Tyron staying healthy… despite his recent injury history SCREAMING that his body is breaking down. SMH…

Depth at OT was already a burning issue— now it’s a bonafide 3 alarm fire. Rant over. Thanks for listening lol

It makes no sense at all. However. It did require common sense. But then we got the Jones'es.

Underwhelm and grow money for later...later....later

Yah… but Stephen says they have kept some “dry powder” for “just in case.” Well if this isn’t a “shatter glass in case of emergency” situation— then I don’t know what is lol

I thought this thread was going to be about feeding someone massive amounts of mashed potatoes unto they hit 325 and could play tackle.

Been saying this over and over and over again.
I guess Jerry does not read this Forum, or does not like my advise.
This is gross mismanagement by the front office.
There have been GM's fired for less.

Thanks… been busy and have been feeling down about the Cowboys since the SF loss and an uninspiring offseason so been a little quieter than normal

Hoping they prove me wrong— but I figured them for 9-8 and that was before Tyron (unsurprisingly) got injured. Now? 7-10, 8-9 look realistic barring a quality trade or signing for OT (like Whitworth coming out of retirement)

This falls back on Mike and Joe as well. I mean what were they thinking? They were fine with Ball and the new Wes guy? That’s silly

I totally understand, I have come to enjoy this forum almost as much as the Cowboys.
I will enjoy the games but not expect much.
