Think about that, since their is no fear of the president or gm getting fired their is zero pressure to win, other gms have to worry about failure leading to being fired, Jerry is never firing himself or replacing him son, so as long as that is in place this team isn’t winning anything.

Cowboys need to be abolished. They serve little to no significance in serving this country and/or the company they work for (the NFL) unless straight up embarrassing yourself like a clown is their intended goal.

Yep, our dysfunctional front office puts us at a competitive disadvantage.
We can only hope Stephen will hire a GM when he takes over.

Once you appreciate the significance of this, it’s really hard being a fan of this team anymore.

The Jones family is a black pill for fans. Only NFL franchise completely beholden to one nepotistic family.
I'll always be a fan. That won't ever change but I have also accepted that I'll never see this team win a SB again.

Head coaches set the tone for their team on the sidelines, in the locker room, on the practice field, and on game day -- fear of a player losing their job, fear of letting your teammates, & coaching staff down in crucial moments, fear that an assistant coach will be fired/demoted, & above all, fear in losing.

In Jerry's world, there is no fear because the head coach is a puppet figure head, & the players know it.
As long as the player is a 'twinkle' in Jerry's eye, and gets paid, that is all that matters.
County club mentality that is exposed every year as the season unfolds to the end, and concludes.

Nothing has changed since Jimmy left in 1994.

Except for when Bill was here. That looked like it was working. But then there were reports that Jerry was not enjoying the set-up and having to take a back seat.

That argument doesn’t work. 4 playoff wins in 26 years would result in any GM being fired…except here.

I am glad that more people are starting to realize this.
At this point, I will have to use my willpower not to watch these games anymore.
I am about to run 46 and I keep trying to find hope, to find a reason to keep believing. but the truth and the sad cold fact is that this team will NEVER EVER truly change until Jerry dies, sells or resigns. His son seems to be of the same mind, so when he takes over, it will be more of the same.

Now... I am fairly certain that none of the other 31 teams would have sustained Jason the Clapper for 10 years.
Jerry might have a good heart and I do think he has good intentions, but he is not a CAPABLE GM. Being a successful business man and a billionare does not qualify you for being a good GM of an NFL team. He is clearly not.

And as long and he and people keep thinking that the good guy, the nice person Dak is (because i think he is a good guy)... is our QB we are doomed. DAK is an AVERAGE QB. If you guys expect something magical to happen with him, i feel so sorry for you. He will have the occasional good game here and there but that is it

We’ll win a few more games. Typical 9-8, 10-7 season. May slip in the playoffs. One and done. Same ole..same ole. Some things never change in JJ’s world. Wash, rinse, repeat…year in and year out. A franchise QB is the only thing that changes anything. I know, I know..broken record…kinda like our team the last 26 years.

They've just hired all of the players and coaches who have come up short year after year. Well, maybe not Charlotte.

This loss has nothing to do with Jones family. They had 4th qtr lead of 14 pts.
They got the ball in overtime.
They had a chance to kick FG to win/tie the game in overtime based on how Packers would respond.
