By my count I would say 6 definite coaching changes are coming down when the dust settles next weekend .

Pats
Jets
Las Vegas
Giants
Bears
Saints

Then you have possibilities such as Dallas

The Eagles if they get bounced round one that
Coach had a dust up with Zach Ertz after a recent game this after he had an earlier shouting match with Eagles fans this year .

Tenn looks terrible and yes he’s a rookie coach but so is Mayo in NE .

And Gannon in Az is 11-21 so far not exactly Dennis Green territory .

25 % of the coaches could get booted which means individuals may have more then one choice at a job and may not look at Jerry & Dak as recipe for success . Lower your expectations fan forum fanatics on candidates if MM is packing .

Over the last five years in the NFL there have been 35 coaches fired and it is likely to be 7 or 8 this year. Another team that I think could make a change is the Bengals. Zac Taylor's teams start slow and then finish strong but that is not a recipe for success. If the Bengals open up then I think the top coaching destinations would be the Bengals and Bears.

Thing about Cincy is once again heading into final week he has them in slim playoff hunt . What surprises me about that team is they have never built a protective overpowering OL to protect one of the games best QB’s .

Chicago could be a gold mine for the right coach now that Williams is over his rookie season he should develop into the franchise .

The Bears also have $82M of cap space in 2025 with a QB that will be on his rookie deal for at least the next two years. Coaching hires are never done in a vacuum and if McCarthy is replaced then the question of where do the Cowboys fall on the list of best to worst destinations?

On the surface the Bears future seems bright . The Cowboys cloudy uncertain.

Rex Ryan & Ron Rivera expected to interview for Jets job according to ESPN . Didn’t want either one of them near Jerry come Jan .

To say Cinci has slim playoff hopes is an understatement. They have to get that OL fixed. Same with Chicago. Rodgers can't even play with a bad OL.

Forget Ron, but I wouldn't mind Rex. If you want a coach that will rely less on Dak, he's the guy. He took a Jets team to two straight AFC championship games with a much worse QB. All road games to boot.

You know his Bros Rob would come with Rex as a package deal DC . Rex Ryan and Jerry Jones sounds like divorce court in one season

Why would Rob have to be part of it? He wasn't with him on the Jets. Wasn't he already our terrible DC in 2008?

Bros might want to bring bros with him. I think Jerry can do better then the Ryan show

I like retreads. We should dust off Dick Vermeil, and see if he can do it a 3rd time. But I think he's like 99 years old now. All jokes aside, I do like proven commodities. I think somewhere like 9 of 10 random coordinators fail miserably.

I’m the opposite . I like new young OC minded coaches who just need that first HC job . McVay Shanahan Kingsbury did some good in Az Stefanski had success in Cleveland Kevin O in Minnesota etc .

Dak needs an offensive minded genius to turn his career around or this team goes totally into dumpster fire .

“Eagles coach is top 5 in alltime winning %, but he yelled at an opposing player so he needs to lose his job.”

I’m sorry but the NE Patriots weren’t exactly contenders when Mayo got the job and they drafted a QB didn’t rush him into action played a Jag at the position half the year then after 4 wins you fire the guy after one yr ?

Mike Vrabel will get that job ,

It’s being reported Mike Vrabel and NE are in contract negotiations phase now . Only a matter of days I can’t imagine Kraft will haggle let Vrabel go to say the Jets in division .

Meanwhile Chris Spielman of the Lions has interviewed for the Jets GM opening . He’s been in Detroit forever and was around when the previous coaching staff in Detroit made a mess of the team prior to Campbell and GM Shaw .

The Ford heiress finally got a good Gm & Coaching combo in place and it’s made a world of difference .

In Dallas how deep is Jerry the GM when it comes to April and McClay is trying to stock the team . Jerry does have his hands on bringing in the coaches but how much was he involved in say the Mingo and Lance trades ? They sound like someone giving Jerry advice deals . A lot of JJ seems ceremonial in nature and at 82 it’s further fading for the Stephen takeover

An aggressive hands on owner would have at least fired the DC at years end if not the entire staff . Your defense was 31st in points allowed and presided over multiple game ending collapses . Zimmer was not an improvement over Quinn .

Butler was on the roster when the Caelon Carson’s and Andrew Booth’s of the world were starting and getting completely abused . You finally bring in Butler and it’s like why hasn’t he started 6 games ago ? Jerry is sentimental about Zimmer going back to the Parcell days . Same as wasting a season on Zeke , sentiment clouds sound judgement .

DLaw won’t be back and Butler could have been a starting DB long before they found him roaming the halls at Frisco And it took an Overshown injury to discover Liufau.

Dallas needs a new DC period .

The Bears approached the Steelers for a Tomlin trade how committed are they to MM ?The Steelers turned them down
