NY Giants could throw ``Wildcat'' at Cowboys next season

I think it's crazy to spend time practicing these plays. Unless, like the Dolphins, you are going to run this formation a high percentage of the time, why stick it in for one or two plays a game?

Why run a reverse 1 or 2 times a game or the halfback pass? If teams and coaches did not find a reason to use these plays they wouldn't do it. The wildcat I think can be a useful tool depending on the guys you have running it.

I don't know why but the idea of seeing Eli Manning split wide makes me giggle uncontrollably.

If we lined up Ware opposite of him, and told Ware to suplex him at the snap, would it be legal so long as it was within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage?

No, I get it completely. But I'm just banging on you because no matter what happens, someone always has to be the negative nancy of the thread.

Relax, man. Just because I refuse to give our NFC East opponents credit for anything doesn't mean I "don't get it." I just hate the Giants, Eagles, and Commanders with a passion, and everything they do is garbage.;)

:yourock: The part in bold is poetry.

Like the Dolphins?

You would think the 1st NFL team running it would have the most success with it. I do think more teams will add it to their playbook and expect to see more options being used with in it inculding the Cowboys.

I expect it to be a flash on the pan and disappear in a couple of years. Trick plays and gimmicks will only take you so far.

I disagree. If it was something an offense ran the majority of the time I would agree but it is a play that is used only a few times.

I think you will see more option being ran from it as coaches try to find ways to get the most from that formation.

I see the wildcat no different than a team who likes to run reverses from time to time or the halfback pass it is a play not the entire offense. I personally think too much is made over it, it is just a play like many other plays

I'm not being negative telling the truth. Should the coaches lose sleep over the Giants running the wildcat? Many teams run the wildcat but it is also something you don't blow off you prepare for the different things an offense throws at you including formations like the wildcat offense.

Some claim the wildcat does not work that is untrue some teams have done well using the formation from time to time much like a screen not all teams run that as well as others do and depending on the player who is running out of the wildcat some can do more in terms of using all the options within the formation.

Last thing like you don't like the Commanders, Eagles or Giants only difference I do give them credit as I would any other team when credit is due.

No credit is ever due to an NFC East rival, especially the Commanders.

I love the Cowboys but I'm a fan of sports in general I'll always tip my hat to the other guy no matter if I like him or not when it is due.

In playing sports I was and still am the same way, I will give you everything I got but win or lose I will carry myself with dignity and pride not act like some little spoiled kid who can't handle it.

Just the way I am I have never been a sore loser or poor sport. Like any other Cowboy fan I cheer against our NFC East rivals and enjoy seeing them loose
