What more needs to be said? The o-line is and has been terrible all season long. No way that BP can't know this. He went into this season with Bledsoe who he admitted needed protection to be effective. Not much was effectively done to make this o-line better.

People want to blame JJ for the lack of running....well wake up! Barber hasn't done squat today either.

Pass protection? Romo is continually running around out there.

Rivera was brought in from the Packers....remember how much Favre had to run around as well? He just isn't a very good blocker either.

It all begins and ends at the lines....been saying this for YEARS and we still have YET to fix it. People want sexy picks in the draft....a top notch QB here....a great RB there....sorry, but when the o-line is this terrible a top notch QB is relegated to mediocrity and the great RB is relegated to a dime a dozen type guy behind an o-line that plays like ours.

Agreed. OL should be picked in the first 3 rounds of the next draft, but Jerry Jones seems to think that he can sign other teams 2nd and 3rd teamers to improve Dallas' line.

Romo has hidden are weak O-line for sometime now. The past few weeks its just become unravelled (spelling heh). At least they have been taking less penalties :).

We have 6 guys blocking including the RB and we still can't prevent the pressure.

The o-line is THE reason for the woes on offense even though we have scored more points this year. It's a hollow average of points that we scored this season.

They are getting to Romo with a 4 man rush and we are keeping 6 in for protection.

We knew this was a problem before the season started and all we really did was sign Kosier. Sad.

Yep, which is why BP failed this offense by not fixing what REALLY needs to be fixed on the offensive side of the ball.

O-line, O-line, O-line.....

How can I put this. Parcells knew we needed linemen and in the 2nd qtr, there were several sitting right in front of him and he elected to pick FASANO, the guy who completely missed a blitz, didn't even touch the guy, that ended up with the Romo fumble, because Romo had to stop forward away from the blitz, and then lost the ball....

Adios Parcells'

nonono - it will be fine. flo will come back 100%, kozier is a steal, rivera has had a year to rest, blah blah blah.

i took holy hell during FA and the draft saying we ignored the line and it would cost us.

now line bashing is the rage.

and we selected Fasano over McNeil??!!

Sometimes I wish our FO could just draft according to Kiper's guide. It only costs $29.95 and lets get rid of all these so called "scouts".

Agreed. Enough of this best player available crap, let's fill some gaping holes in the draft.

You miss where I said that I have been saying this for YEARS?

I've been saying to fix this crap of an o-line for YEARS and have been bashing them for quite awhile now and imploring people to pay attention to the line during games for a long time this seaon.

Line bashing for me has been a continual thing, so it's not something that is all of a sudden a "rage".

Is there a QB that CAN be successful behind an o-line that lets fewer guys through the line than are blocking? Yet, I see people pinning THIS loss on Romo....UNBELIEVABLE! How can people be so blind?

oh, maybe i did. : ) i just know i got yelled at a lot for raining on the "they'll be great cause i want them to be!!" posters.

this was romo's growing year. we had to get through it.

we have and we will get better. but not with parcells driving. i gave him a stay of execution when he finally put romo in but given the rest of the year, there's no way he should be calling the shots anymore.

The O-Line hasn't been awful all year. Earlier in the year they were run blocking well and wildly inconsistent in pass protection. As Romo came in, the pass protection was decent and the run blocking was okay. But they've struggled in both areas recently. Flozell was terrible today and so was Rivera...again. I'd like to see Romo curb his mistakes, but we need to get better play from the O-Line out there. And since we're running the ball so poorly recently, it's making it more difficult in the red zone.

Who's better? Champ? He gets beat once and all of a sudden he sucks?

"Flo will be back to 100%" What kind of talk is that? He has never lived up to his potential. Back to 100% of an average so so player?
I feel that the offensive line has been our biggest problem since 2000 and has not been addessed.
Still I can not blame the offensive line for this one today, the whole team looked lazy and unprepared.
Everyone blamed Troy Aikman, Quincy, Vinny, Emmitt, Bledsoe and now JJ, Barber and Romo but they are not the problem. It has been the offensive line for many years. Curly

JJ: Address the o-line stat. It's in a code blue status (hospital reference for not breathing).
