The run game is extremely important in this league, unless you have a Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, J. Allen and special, elite quarterbacks on that level.

Dak is a very good quarterback BUT he is not those guys. Dak is not an elite quarterback and he's still the best quarterback on our team. Its ok that he's not elite because having an elite quarterback doesn't always guarantee you a championship. All superbowl winning teams didn't do it with elite quarterbacks....

Rush is playing great ball right now and these guys in this video and in many other videos explain why..... some of our "resident geniuses quarterback gurus" conveniently leave out key points about the power of a healthy run game.

Let them call the same game plan for Dak and watch what he does with this offense.

Its not called dumbing down, its called playing to the strengths of your personnel.

Only dumb people have a problem with sticking with what's more affective. What's dumb about winning??? The dumb would never grasp the concept and think its dumbing things down.

There is hope for the limited minds and low IQs however.....

When the starting QB needs the offense changed to something simpler because of his lack of ability to make the correct reads and an inability to go through his progressions, it's dumbing down the offense. The franchise QB should be able to run a more advanced offense than the backup QB.

There's no question but what getting Jason Peters in at LG made a considerable difference in their run game production. Anytime the run game works to advantage, the passing game is most likely to do likewise. I'll be curious to see if it helps Dak as much as it's helped Cooper Rush. It'll be up to Kellen Moore to make the proper adjustments for each QB's benefit. Hopefully, both will benefit and so should the team, as a result.

The coming weeks should provide an interesting comparison of each QBs contributions. In any event, this team is on the upswing. Here's hoping it proves to be an ongoing and productive experience, come what may. Let's see what adjustments can be made for each QB and how the offensive production is affected. The weeks to come should be especially intriguing. In the end, it's the team's collective performance that matters the most.

Whats advanced??? We don't have a coordinator like K. Shanahan or Sean McVay who can dial up EFFECTIVE advanced plays. You play to win the damn game not for style points. This isn't gymnastics....

If i have a formula that TEAMS CAN'T STOP..... you keep doing it!! If it ain't broken don't fix it!!

Whats the use of Dak passing for 5000 yards and were 9-8 vs Dak passing for 3000, our running game put up 1400 and were 12-5???? The run game OPENS those throwing lanes. You work smarter not harder....

What yall fail to realize is a BALANCED offense with a great dose of a running game eats clock, wear the opposing defense down, and gives our defense plenty of rest during the game to perform at their highest levels.

Its called ball control and dictating the flow of the game especially when your personnel is better suited for that style of play. Why try to force a square block through a triangle hole just to look cute for style points???

Why aide the opposition if they can't stop what your doing???

The running game opens receiving lanes wider for higher percentage completion rates.

You can't pass the ball for 60 attempts when you don't have the personnel for that and DEFINITELY don't have an offensive coordinator who can make the proper adjustments for high volume passing.

Its also hilarious how haters are complaining about a winning formula that increases our chances to win. Never seen so many losers upset at what makes your team win. LOL!!!

What we don't have is a QB who can successfully implement advanced plays.

It has nothing to do with "style points", it's about being able to score TDs, when the defense can't hold the other team to less than 20 points. The offense definitely needs to be balanced, and when the running game is the only thing working, the balance is gone.

Dak has all the tools he needs to be a very good QB, but he needs to be more consistent and better at reading the field. Even that, I think he could do well, if he could get out of his own head.

You have people with low football IQ calling running the ball more, "dumbing down" because they are upset that their attempt to discredit Dak by saying Rush is flourishing with the same game plan Dak used was shot down and burned by people who know football, have eyes and great common sense.
